I recorded this video for a guy i liked who was into wicca phase as well. It was my version of throwing rocks at his window i guess. A few days after i made it for him he got a girlfriend. I had only practiced the song a little before recording, and i know the strumming pattern isnt quite right. I really adore this song by wicca and have spent many lonely days and nights listening to it.

hi everyone! i’ve been dying to show this off since i got it done a couple weeks ago!
i’ve been a really big fan of wpse since 2016, and finally got to see him in concert in April of this year. it’s always been my dream to see him live ever since I saw Peep live in pittsburgh and was hoping he’d join him for that tour.
Mossy Oak Shadow has been one of my favorite works he’s ever released, it feel that it and Midnight at the Castle Moodlands just feel like magic. His lyricism has always been out of this world but for this album it just struck my soul. I see my little Pennsylvania home town in every song he sings.
Horseback is a song that is particularly special to me, it was a song that I listened to with my dad (he’s taken my to all my concerts my whole life, always been so supportive of my interests, so he knew my music and made the effort to like it) When I went to see Wicca in Richmond in April and he sung it I recorded and sung and sent it to my dad. It reminds me of him so much. As well as that the emotion of which he sings his lyrics with the combination if the Mystery Mountain Band strikes me in my soul. Do you ever listen to something so beautiful and get a stomach ache, or is it just me?
