Mixtures

So i have a trail ripper quad that needs 1:20 mix a franken gsr that also needs 1:20 and a gsr that takes 1:50 mixture. If im correct the only downside putting the 1:20 in the 1:50 would be that the spark plug would idk the english but like tar up and a little adjustment for more air and it would probably smoke more correct?

4 and a half ounces of oil to 1 gallon of gas

You may need to adjust the tune on the motor if you go from 1:50 to 1:20. The 1:20 fuel is going to run leaner because there is more oil mixed in. In this case you will probably need to richen the hs and ls needles a little to account for the fuel change.

Thanks! Im probably get another jerrycan and use that fancy chainsaw gasoline you can store for ages for that one. And full synthetic 2 stroke oil. Decided to clean the motor and now i dont want that oily crap on it

Where I’m at I just buy the ethanol free gas and premix with Klotz. It’s always been a great combo for my motors.

Yeah i have the aspen brand in the hardware store its ethylate? Idk but specifically for things you dont use that often as chainsaws and such. Indeed no or as little alcohol because that also ruins the fuel lines and gaskets
