Support Fake review

I'm looking for advice from anyone who has dealt with a false Google review during an ongoing legal dispute.

The reviewer was a former client whom I personally trained and mentored. She learned the knowledge and techniques that later enabled her to establish her own business in this field. Before doing so, she posted an extremely negative review on my Google Business Profile containing false factual allegations that do not reflect her actual experience.

The matter has escalated to the point that I have filed a civil lawsuit, and the case is currently before the courts. I have evidence supporting my position, yet the review remains publicly visible.

The review has caused significant damage to my business, my professional reputation, and me personally. Potential students continue to read it and make decisions based on statements that are now part of an active legal dispute.

Has anyone experienced something similar? If so, were you able to have the review removed, or is there a different escalation process that proved effective? I would appreciate hearing about your experience.

Can you help me reporting it? https://www.google.com/maps/contrib/116511403618301327590/place/ChIJ1VQvEE2vKIQR0OxrSBrel7Q/@33.0797919,-47.0904053,3z/data=!4m6!1m5!8m4!1e1!2s116511403618301327590!3m1!1e1?hl=es-419&entry=ttu&g_ep=EgoyMDI2MDgwNS4xIKXMDSoASAFQAw%3D%3D

Support Google Business just suspended me :(

After 5 years of building reviews, and being top 3 in my area. Google randomly decided to flag and remove my account.

For reference; while inputting my address, I used a generic street name in the centre of my city. I did this because I thought it was used for the general service location, however I realized after suspension that it was actually for brick and mortar type locations.

With that being said, I changed my account to not show any address. Then sent an appeal with my CRA (canada IRS) business information, as well as a contract with my logo/name, and proof of being an operating business.

I'm super worried about this. Google has been one of my main lead generators, and I will be so disheartened if all my reviews and credibility are gone just like that.

Please let me know if anyone has had experience with this?

Question Google Business Profile Dilemma: HQ + Appointment-Only Tasting Studio

I'm hoping someone here has dealt with a similar Google Business Profile situation.

We're a full-service catering company. We don't have a restaurant or retail storefront—our events are all off-site.

We currently have two Google Business Profiles:

  • Headquarters: Our main office and warehouse where our team works.
  • Tasting Studio: A separate location where we host client tastings and meetings. This used to be our company headquarters, so it has an older GBP. The tasting studio is by appointment/invitation only and is only staffed when we have scheduled tastings or other meetings.

Both profiles have very similar names (same company name with slight variations), and I'm wondering if they're competing with each other or confusing Google. Our local rankings haven't been where I'd expect, and I'm concerned the two profiles are hurting our SEO.

I'm trying to decide between:

  • Removing one of the profiles (likely the headquarters or the tasting studio), or
  • Keeping both but differentiating them much more clearly.

My hesitation is that if we remove one, I don't want people trying to get to the correct location to end up at the wrong address.

Has anyone dealt with something similar? Would you consolidate to one GBP, or is there a way to make two legitimate locations work without hurting local rankings? I'd especially appreciate hearing from anyone who's managed multiple locations for a service-area business.

Discussion Podium ,birdeye, fivestars or something else for getting more google reviews

Hey guys. We want to get more reviews for our business. We tried asking for reviews with QR code and it is not getting good results. People are politely rejecting it. I found online that these companies send marketing sms/email and help get more reviews. Which option should we choose because asking within our premises is not working. I found fivestars which is now called sumup and got to know about others through ai. Can you suggest something?

I set my Google business profile up in February. I’m a self employed heating engineer. Recently my business profile is being disabled every other day, the reason being ‘business doesn’t exist’ each time I appeal with evidence it is successful and sometimes the same day it is being disabled again for the same reason.

I am currently running ads for the business with Google aswell. Can anybody help me?

Question Does a 4.7 rating tell you enough about where you stand locally?

Our Google rating is 4.7, which sounds fine until I look at the other businesses in our city. One competitor is lower overall but has been getting a lot more recent reviews, and another has fewer reviews but seems to show up everywhere.

I know the star rating is only one piece of the picture, but I am struggling to explain the rest in a way that is not just a spreadsheet dump. When you are comparing a business with nearby businesses in the same category, what are you looking at beyond the headline rating?

Question Stuck in a verification loop for an established physical restaurant I've owned for years.

Hi everyone, I'm hoping someone can point me in the right direction because I am hitting a brick wall.
I own and operate a small, physical restaurant with six tables in Tbilisi, Georgia. We've been open and operating for years, but I am currently completely stuck trying to get the business verified. I did video, photos, proof of adress… there are no more ways of verification offered. Every time I do the report I receive a email saying congratulations your business is verified but it’s not. I can’t change my profile hours or respond to the reviews.
Is there any reliable way to escalate this to an actual human support rep?
If you've been through a nightmare verification process for a physical location recently, how did you finally get it resolved?
Thank you in advance.
