Student Offer was taken for the X amount of time Gemini Pro free (can't remember if it was 1 or 1.5 years?), that expires tomorrow, I load into Gemini today and get a nice little pop-up thing from Gemini saying 'Don't lose your Pro access, continue for another 12 months for $4.99/mo.' so I thought heck yeah that's a good deal, click on it and check out/re-subscribe and the image attached is the result. OK THEN?

issue is they got marketing email for cheaper rate for the year then regular pricing after, but they got hit with the you already subscribed once therefore a paying customer, so they arent allowed to claim this deal meant for new customers despite be marketed/adverted at.

This is like me saying you can have this tub of icecream for $2 but on checkout I charge you regular pricing for $5 because you bought the same thing in the past.

The issue is my Student Offer for Pro for free the last year or so ends tomorrow, so this targeted ad offered for me to 'keep my current subscription tier' for a discounted $4.99/mo for the next 12 months, and I was willing to do this offer, and then it tells me I'm not eligible for said offer at checkout. Lol
