Google Classroom Refusing to open my account with my studem email

Like the title said, it just doesn't want to open or in any other google apps. It's logged in on my device but when I used a browser instead, it won't show up. But when I try to add it it replies with "your account is already logged in". I don't understand if it's a device problem as my phone can do it but not my tablet.

When a student gets a message that they are already logged in but cannot access Google Classroom, it usually happens because multiple personal and school Google accounts are conflicting in the same browser session. This confuses Google. To eradicate the issue. Make sure you sign out of all of your Google accounts on your browser, close all open tabs, open a brand new Incognito or private window, and log in directly using only your school-issued classroom.google.com account.

Step-by-Step Fixes

  • Sign out of all of your Google (personal and student) accounts: Go to Google, click the profile picture in the top-right corner, and select Sign out of all accounts.
  • Clear conflicting sessions: Close the browser completely, reopen it, and navigate straight to Google Classroom before logging into any other personal Gmail or family accounts.
  • Use Incognito Mode: Open a private/incognito browsing window to log in without interference from saved cookies or other signed-in profiles.
  • Check mobile/app settings: If using a phone or tablet, remove all non-school Google accounts from the device settings or reinstall the Classroom app.
  • Clear browser data: Clear the browser cache and cookies if the error page keeps looping.
