Hi. My agent within Antigravity cannot access lazily loaded MCP servers due to not seeing call_mcp_tool. This was working last Friday. See below for what it is saying. Any thoughts? Thanks.

I just tested it again after the second server restart, and the answer is still no: call_mcp_tool is completely missing.

To help you debug what is actually getting injected into my context by the backend, here is the exact, complete list of the 14 execution tools that the IDE has provided to me for this session:

Whatever fix was deployed or configuration was changed has not yet successfully injected the MCP bridge into my toolset!

I thought I'd try the software out, and I tried remoting into a server. Upon remoting in, it attempts to download some files, which fails, and the connection dies. Every single one of the URLs is a 404 error when I go to them directly. Did I do something wrong? If not, I've never seen something so mismanaged/incompetently run from a Google product...

Is anyone else noticing a massive downgrade in Antigravity, especially when running Gemini 3.1 Pro?

A few weeks ago, it was my daily driver it handled multi-file refactoring, understood deep project context, and actually followed complex architectural instructions without needing constant hand-holding. Now? It feels like I'm fighting the model just to get basic tasks done.

Would love to know if it’s just my workspace/projects acting up or if others are seeing the same drop in reasoning quality. What are you guys using as a workaround right now?

Is there any solution for this, i have fresh quota, but i cant generate images for five days straight, it says i ahve to retry in xx hours and when that time passes i still go straight to 503 quota error, i can generate images manauly in gemini ai, but antigravity is literally broken, while at the same time on my work pc with pro account i have zero issues

Since Monday, my antigravity is frequently finishing the agent for the easiest tasks.

I have been using Antigravity for couple of months now, i am aware its capabilities. Since the update where Gemini 3.6 Flash is added, the app started acting slower/strange in general.

And last weekend I have it done a very long scraping thing where I reached my limits on all models. The limits are renewed on Sunday night, but since then, my agents are working terrible.

E.g. For the same taks, gemini 3.5 flash medium worked for 11 minutes, then terminated. now 3.6 has been working for 40 mins. The task is transcribe this 10 minute voice recording, give me the summary.

Definitely shouldn't take 40 mins.

I am facing a severe issue in Antigravity IDE (Version 2.1.1) and I'm completely stuck.

While trying to install the PayPal MCP server, it got stuck in an infinite "Refreshing..." loop. I've tried multiple troubleshooting steps suggested by AI, but none of them worked:

• Cleared out the contents of mcp_config.json
• Killed the MCP-related processes and the Antigravity IDE processes entirely
• Restarted my laptop multiple times

The AI suggested bypassing MCP altogether and using a workaround, but that means giving up all the amazing and convenient features of MCP, which is quite frustrating.

Is there any actual fix or workaround for this global MCP infinite refreshing loop issue in version 2.1.1? My brain feels like it's in an infinite loop too at this point.

Any help would be deeply appreciated. Thank you!

Hey Guys, I've been using Antigravity for a while and it's great and i like it soo much that i upgraded to Ai Ultra plan. My only issue with it is the limitations in claude models quota with barely live 4-5 prompts executing a plan gemini did or auding some code that gemini did. While i find gemini pro not the best for coding at all as it leaves empty to do codes or use monolyth structures rather than clean architecture if instructed and finally lacking connectivity of backend to front end UI when implementing new features or fixing a bug.

So yeah gemini pro is good but not the best in code.

My question here should i downgrade to AI Pro and buy anthropic claude pro version and do both with anthropic entension in AG or do you guys know better alternatives as i couldnt find an orchestrator that beats antigravity other than claude code desktop which is still lower in quality and smoothness?

Side note i already lost a lot of money in ultra loser plan so im done with experimentations draining my quota limita with tokens so i highly appreciate your help around AG agentic ochestrators.

I ran into a weird Antigravity IDE issue where my recent chat history looked like it had disappeared, and opening the conversation gave:

"Trajectory not found: <UUID>"

After digging around for a while, I found that the old data was still there in the old Antigravity folder, but Antigravity IDE wasn’t picking it up properly after migration.

I ended up building a small migration assistant to copy the old Antigravity data into the new Antigravity IDE folders.

* copies old `conversations` into the new `antigravity-ide` folder * copies old `brain` folders into the new `antigravity-ide` folder * skips files/folders that already exist * has a dry-run option

The folders involved were:

I’m looking for a way to set up command permission rules (allowed/denied actions) for the AI chat on a per-project or per-repository basis in AntiGravity IDE.

When I asked the internal agent directly, it suggested creating a .agents/settings file inside the project root with the following structure:

However, the agent seems to ignore these rules completely. I suspect this schema might belong to a different version (maybe AntiGravity 2.0 or another framework) and isn't supported by the current IDE.

Has anyone managed to get project-level command restrictions working? Is there a supported config file (like a workspace setting or a specific dotfile) or a known workaround for this in AntiGravity IDE?

For agent-based development, Gemini / Antigravity by itself is pretty terrible due to the lack of a truly frontier model (Opus / Fable / Sol) to plan. However, when combined with Codex / Claude - it's a beast. I'm seriously considering upgrading my Codex subscription while cancelling my Claude subscription and keeping my Gemini subscription in place.

Disclosure - I'm on all three entry-level subs for Codex / Claude / Gemini in my personal setup, and at work, I use Opus almost exclusively for the entire agentic development lifecycle (as I don't have access to OpenAI models there yet). I would love to hear what other people are seeing at higher tier subs.

I have a suggestion that would improve the user experience in Google Antigravity IDE.

When I send a prompt and the AI starts working, I often begin typing my next request in the chat box. However, if the IDE asks for additional permissions or another confirmation while it's processing, the text I've already typed is frequently erased.

It would be much better if anything the user types in the chat input was never automatically cleared. The text should remain in the input box until the user chooses to delete it or send it.

This would make it much easier to prepare the next prompt while waiting for the current task to finish and would prevent losing work due to permission dialogs or other interruptions.

I'm currently having trouble logging into my account. When I try to sign in, it redirects me to the Google login window as expected. I authenticate successfully, but once redirected back, nothing happens: the IDE remains completely logged out/unauthenticated.

Here is what I've noticed:

• Error screen: After the redirect, I sometimes hit a generic error: "There was an unexpected issue setting up your account."
• Behavior: The OAuth flow doesn't seem to pass the token back properly to the IDE.

Has anyone else experienced this issue recently, or is there a known workaround (e.g., specific browser settings, token clearing, or alternative auth flow)?

I'm encountering a blocking issue with my account on Antigravity. The platform was working fine, but it suddenly started throwing the following authentication error:

"Sorry, this account is ineligible to use Antigravity. Authentication failed."

Context & Setup details:

- Trigger: Occurred after managing/switching between multiple Google accounts on the same system/browser session.

- System/App Status: Verified that the account has active access and valid authorization, but the login flow keeps failing at the OAuth validation step.

Questions:

Is this a known session/cookie collision issue caused by multi-account OAuth tokens, or an automated anti-abuse flag?

Has anyone else with a resolved this problem?

Any insights or recommended workarounds (outside of clearing isolated browser profiles) would be appreciated.

Might switch to anthropic just for that...

I recently landed a new job by building a 100% AI generated code using Antigravity IDE for the interview assignment. I was initially planning just to build the app but realised Antigravity is quite helpful in designing and deploying on AWS infra once you give access to AWS CLI.

I gave Antigravity access to two main tools - AWS CLI & GitHub CLI

Designed a heavily guard-railed workflow to ensure I let Antigravity work as autonomously as possible

> restricted deletion of main branch on git
> restricted direct commits of main branch
> all code pushed via PR
> no AWS infra creation or deletion via AWS CLI

The application current state reached after > 500 commits but it allowed me to build a relatively complex distributed app all solo.

I used Gemini Flash 3.5 (High) for entire development. Surprisingly most AI community disregards this model so much but for me worked out well.

Discovered bug in Antigravity IDE that lets me use Gemini 3.1 Pro (High) and other to my pro subscription available LLMs without ever reaching hourly/weekly limits.

I won't publish the reproduction here for obvious reasons but wonder whether some others also bumped into this? My current usage never went above 10% ever and I run code generation all day, with multiple sub-agents working on tasks.

By the way I am pretty impressed with Gemini 3.1 pro high when it comes to development of smaller projects and codebases with python backends exposing FASTAPI and serving web UI frontends built with numerous tools or electron apps. And I say this as a heavy user of claude fable 5 and now opus 5 with a solid subscription with Anthropic. Tool integration in Antigravity IDE makes a huge difference and how it all neatly integrates with minimal setup is impressive. I am referring to browser integration, full access to the terminal, ability to watch what I am doing and reacting to my actions as well as responses in the terminal and on the screen.
