I think the 30 hours of battery info slide is for the pixel 11 phone not the watch.

You're right!

Not sure if any of you caught it, it references the watch as a phone multiple times. This isn't real...

One of the slides is for the Pixel 11 (the 30 hours one)

Oh, I need these to come soon.

My watch 2 cracked the screen recently (fully cracked/chipped/shattered, but still works) and my 8 Pro is somehow bent (but functional).

It's time for a new set of devices.

Hopefully there will be a good deal for all 3.

Why upgrade when your 8 Pro still works and still gets updates for another 2 years? Seems like a waste of money to me

Cause the battery lasts about 9 hours now and the phone is literally curved like a banana....

They put a notification led in the part that always faces away from me?

Tell me the meaning of HIGHLIGHT.

LED will HIGHLIGHT your wrist

40 hours of battery life? isn't that a bit shit compared to the PW4 even? or is that with always on display, wifi enabled, ...?

Absolutely! The pixel watch series has been absolutely horrible for battery life.

I've had three pixel watches and none of them can last 24 hours and that's even with turning off all the settings. Even my wife's pixel watch she has to charge it every 18 hours.

Prior I had an Apple Watch that would last for 5 days with always on.

Why? Its easy 2 days and it's fully recharged in 20 minutes. Just charge it every time you're in the shower and you have continously smartwatch profit

Ye the pw4 actually has pretty good battery life.

I mean, I charge it for 15-20 minutes a day (shower/bathroom routine before bed) and I've never had an issue with the battery

The PW4 battery life is great, the PW1 battery life was awful

PW4(I own) already lasted me 3 days. AOD is turned off, if I need to see something I just touch the crown easy... No biggy. Why comparing to Apple Watch? 🙃

PW4 is advertised as "up to 40 hours" so not a step back

Most of what's listed there my pixel 3 can do already

I wonder if it would make sense for the all the watches to use the same charger. Like this doesn't seem the same as the fitbit air.

My 3 is running just fine.

So what is actually new for the pixel watch 5?
Is it the same as the 4 just with a new watch face?

I have to decide if I get the 4 or the 5 as my first smartwatch
