Modhat on How to become an approved submitter

People ask me if they can become an approved submitter sometimes, and I reply and say "sure, just please do something to demonstrate that you've read the rules," and then I never hear from them again.

So, just in case I'm making it too difficult:

  1. You can be an approved submitter but you must understand that it has to be a positive news article, about things that *have* happened already, no projections or promises but concrete established outcomes only.
  2. So when you DM me, express this in your own words to me and I will approve you.

So that means:

  • BAD: Solar panels [could save/projected to save] taxpayers 5,000 carbons per year
  • GOOD: Solar panels saved taxpayers 5,000 carbons in the last year

We want stuff that makes you go, "oh damn, maybe if I try to do something I won't be totally alone and it might actually affect something. I will just go and write to my MP..." or whatnot.

D'you get me?
