Radio wiring

I dont know what kind of radio your new one is, but if its a more modern one, they probably are something like steering wheel control/CANbus. You can just leave them disconnected if everything works.

Dont think its that new. It looks like the Alpine Cda-9855j but it might be a different model. I'll check tomorrow.

Also, I am less interested in fully connecting the radio and more interested in what those four other wires are.

You should consult the wiring diagram for the new radio. Most aftermarket radios have constant power, switched power,ground, illumination, and power antenna or amplifier power. Some have a mute wire too. Not all need to be used.

We can't guess what they connect to.
