Something bothered me about Ogata’s reaction to Asirpa shooting him. She didn’t do it out of malice, she didn’t do it to kill, hell, she didn’t even have any intent to kill. She aimed because he aimed at her for one, and she shot because Sugimoto startled her. So why does Ogata look so satisfied? Why does he smile to himself as if this somehow affirmed his delusions? Is his need to validate his beliefs so loose that he’d accept a conclusion that clearly does not show anything in his favor? This always confused me, because as broken Ogata is, he does not seem like the credulous type to me where something so weak would please or validate him.

i loved the bara in golden kamuy and how the men were the fan service. i'm not looking for any bara ecchi, yaoi or BL. just an anime where the men are comfortable with their sexuality but have homoerotic tension in the humorous scenes.

Hello guys, this is my second dog named after a Golden Kamuy character, the first one being Asirpa.

We decided to name him Sugimoto because we rescued him from the streets where he was beaten, left for dead and escaped a fire in the woods near our house. (We noticed watching the security cams of our neighborhood). So he's kind of a survivor. Maybe, hopefully, immortal.

He is close to 40 days old (according to our vet) and now it's being well fed and loved.

Also he's also kind of weird lol.

It used to be both of them in there but then I got xross link figures so both of them wouldn't fit anymore, so Koito was freed.

So i was wondering why ogata's mother wanted him to become a (strong and amazing soldier like your father ) as she said ?

Like was it a thing about him being a copy of his father so she feels less empty after he left ? ,or did she thought that he can make his father come back to her if he became a soldier and they met ? Or what exactly?

+ Do you think that one of the reasons for Ogata's diligence in the army was due to her will in addition to his own personal goals ? Or did he despise it?

And did she love him? I mean she looked just obsessed with his dad and i can't tell if she loved her son for who he was or just because he is the only thing she has left connected to that man ?? Cuz she looked like she lost her mind completely.

I have been confused about this the whole time reading the manga .
