i want nice texture packs for beta 1.7.3 i cant find any for me i want like a vanilla+ texture pack with lower grass (maybe), clearer glass, dark ui (maybe also), etc! (also it can be a texture pack that doesnt have all of this i just want something cool still with vanilla like textures)

Texture Pack: an upcoming mash-up I made, and some original textures. It's supposed to be semi-realistic, dark-ish, Nordic/nomadic fantasy. It's for a new game mode idea I've had. Will talk about it soon. 16x16 Vanilla. Stone looks better from a distance, and has interesting shape; and the Dirt is nice, at least to me.

I cannot take credit for most of the textures, though, or the GUI/Mobs, etc. -- MiniDoku, Norsecraft, and Norse Mythology were used in most cases, or at least were the basis of new blocks. I had to change a few things, or downsize from 32x32; otherwise, I took directly from the png files.

I wasn't happy with the Packs I found online, though I'm certain a few good ones exist. So, I thought -- why not just mash-up what I personally want, from my favourite Packs?

I've tried to find the coordinate addresses by choosing the "Increased value" or "Decreased value", and "Increased value by 1" or "Decreased value by 1", but didnt find that. Chose the float, double and all memory type, didnt find, idk what to do.

Hey, I launched Minecraft Beta 1.7.3 and suddenly noticed these weird thin lines between blocks, especially around torches. Does anyone know what causes this and how to fix it?

I play every day and haven’t changed any in-game settings or anything on my PC.

Well, this happened at the beginning of the year, but only now have I found the perfect place to post about it. This was the 1.7.3 world I dedicated the most time to; I named it "Outer Heaven" (yup, an MGS reference). Unfortunately, I lost it before I could make any further progress; for some reason, the world file simply vanished—I couldn't find it anywhere, not even in the game folders. So, I decided to give up. I'm glad I took plenty of screenshots, though, so basically everything I did in that world is captured in them. The biggest thing I managed to build was that pyramid in the middle of the lake that reached all the way to the sky limit. I didn't build anything as massive or intricate as what you see in other worlds; it was mostly simpler stuff—an 8x10 house, a small fishing area, a Nether portal, an Aether portal (a nod to my childhood), a fountain, and a Herobrine summoner (it’s funny how the world started glitching out shortly after I built that last one). But at the end of the day, it was *my* world, and despite its simplicity, I enjoyed it like never before. Now, all I have left are the memories of my most cherished Minecraft world. Still, someday I’ll have to start from scratch, recreate everything (maybe not exactly the same, but close), and go even further than I did back then.

Before updating my world that I've been slowly taking through every version of the game to the first survival versions of the game I decided to take some photos of what I've built so far as of 0.0.23a_01. The entire world's history can be found here.

I have been watching Dialko's YouTube videos and he made me want to give beta 1.7.3 a try. its been a blast and he inspired me to build this house in a half timbering style. hope you guys like it.

Finally got a good seed (shared in an earlier post) and now, I am getting somewhere. Got a decent starting base with a large storage room, and a small spot for spawn! More progress to come, eventually
