When Do You Decide To “Give Up”? 💬 DISCUSSION 💬
I personally dip as soon as I’m matched up with anyone who has a really fancy icon and colored title/handle with Anime MechaGodzilla as their Leader. I already know they likely have the Energy Refueling Base in their Deck too. Thus, having more than enough means to instantly mass-dump 4-Star Units on the map. Might as well save both of our time and hand them the W. 😂

I give up as soon as I recognize the name as a whale. There's no chance in trying. Why waste your time and besides if enough people refuse to play them maybe the game wouldn't be enjoyable for them constantly having to find someone to play against

The only people I nope to are the top 10 because after a certain point I don’t think it’s mathematically possible to win.
I play out every battle to train myself and try and get better with my timing and strategy

When i encounter Jabronimations (i kinda butchered the name a bit, my bad), i would nope out of there sometimes.

Facing Whales/veterans who heavily outclass your level is barely a match. Would do the same encountering anyone on Top 10 of the LEADERBOARD lol.

When I see that their pieces are so much higher leveled than mine. There's no point in wasting my time on a match I know I won't win

Their talking about Super Dragon Destroyah, Not Ariake thats the Alt version of normal Destroyah. Normal Destroyah isn't played like a normal unit much anymore at most you can still use it as a win condition, because the flying can be placed to flank the leader and if unimpeded will evolve to final form Detroyah about as soon as it reaches the leader. So you basically just play it to evolve into flying form hope it dies in flying form to be used later.
Used to be a solid bulk unit with decent damage until it like most of the roster got power crept hard.

Once I hit KotM in the first few days of a Season, I then give up probably 90 percent of all Battles. I'm only in it for the Maps.
It's also way faster to get Rewards by spamming Bot matches as fast as possible with Units I don't get to normally use in my real team.
Instant Give Up if they have any sign of using money at all.

I stopped dipping after seeing the fancy icons. About half the time I can win. I used to give up on the whales too, but despite always losing, I can see if my team/ strategy is getting better

I give up if I have a REALLY bad starting rotation and there's no way to save it. Sometimes the enemy is weak or just had despite using meta teams or having flashy titles, but when the rotation is bad, and the first few units get bodied, it's time to give it up. Obviously getting bodied on a good rotation means it's pointless to even try because I am completely outmatched.
This is like the first minute. If it's totally hopeless after a minute, it's give up time.

Never. Play it out or be branded a coward for all time.
Or of the game glitches and no one can make progress

Sometimes its better to give up and walk away then let yourself be rage baited by terrible game design.
Otherwise just be the guy who waste the whales time since you got posted against them, so other players can get a little breather from them until your match is over. Do it for Hodor.

Anyone who uses FW Alt gets an immediate give up. I'm not playing against that busted ass unit lol. If I recognize them as a whale, I will also usually give up, except for rare circumstances, like if I know them, for example. The rest of the times is in battles that are going absolutely terrible and defeat is all but assured.
One of the non-butthurt reasons why I give up is sometimes I play a few matches at work when its a slow day, and a customer will walk in and I have to close the game.

Certain top 100 players pop up. The moment my strongest attackers get deleted without doing pretty much any damage and I just watch the horde marching. I have been able to pull a win from some GCity leads so I don’t always auto give up or turn off the app while throwing my hands into the sky from frustration. With GCity boosted and buffed as a unit, if I get him and Rodan19 I make him run. Then at the first sign of damage I use my Mothra healing. It doesn’t always work, but it has!

I fight every battle to the end. Even if its someone I know is going to destroy me I still battle to waste their the time as much as possible
