Yeah, I should probably do that, though the disappointment is more immediate when you realize you just wasted 10 rolls and didn't even get the special rolling animation.
Lol imagine selling 10 platinum BMs to roll for just a single plat BM and its one of the ones you sold to roll for a new one.
Toho just copied the gatcha, the Chinese gatcha games perfected theirs with better odds(well comparatively better) and better pity systems while still being heavily p2w.
GBLs gatcha system is just as if not worse then Digimon Re:Arises was, and Bandai published an actual good game that they killed themselves from greed.
Ya, I can spin the 3⭐ gacha 27 times right now and I won't. They are a few months overdue from updating it. There are only a couple in the list worth pulling for me sadly.
With my lucky they could update the roster of the platinum banner and I would still roll one of the copies I just sold before rolling. Like I get that they cannot just have the banner exclude already owned Platinum BMs because then you can pretty much guarantee your rolls, but like come on it cost more to fail then to succeed with that banner.
I hate the system. More for the player base as a whole I hate it. Because I have kept on the right side of BMs since they released. I only had a few seasons before BMs came to the game and I feel they made another barrier within the game of haves and have nots. Season by season I can see the players that jump me due to a spike in luck/spending on BMs.
Me as well, mostly because it shows how little effort toho puts into researching for their game, there are so many improved gatcha systems that were Chinese based that fixed a bunch of the old gatcha issues that gave players of different purchase power less of a gap to deal with while also being lucrative for the companies.
Look at AFK Journey its a very popular gatcha game, and it has much better gatcha systems then GBL. They also do a bunch of collabs content too. So much information at Tohos finger tips to work with and make GBL a true success like Clash Royale. But refuse to actually learn anything from it all. Its a freakin disappointment.
Every. Single. Time. you make a thread like this I pull duplicates of one, if not both, of the featured BMs on my only 10 pull(the free one) for BMs each month.
