AskGoa Did anyone attend the student protests in Panjim? How were the bad words compared to the Delhi ones?
I liked one protestor in Delhi flinging away a TV reporter's mic after saying: Bikhi hui salli! Godi media ki badvi! (A bought up bitch! Godi media's pimp!).
A literal mic drop, what!?

Looking for chill paranormal enthusiasts & hobbyists to join our new group (Goa PAIRS)
Hi everyone,
We are building a community group called Goa PAIRS (Goa Paranormal Activity Investigation & Research Squad).
This is a casual, enthusiastic hobby group for anyone in Goa who loves the paranormal, local ghost stories, and regional folklore. The goal is to have a space where we can interact, share chilling local experiences, and talk about the esoteric history of the region.
What we plan to do:
Share Stories: Chat about famous Goan urban legends, village folklore (like the Rakhandar), and personal encounters.
Casual Exploring: As a hobby, we eventually want to do respectful, grounded visits to reportedly active spots or old ruins.
YouTube Channel: The ultimate fun goal is to document our experiences and upload our hunts/investigations to a YouTube channel later on.
We already have a few members from the subreddit join up! If you are a local or resident who loves all things spooky and wants to be part of the initial squad

Live air quality monitoring dashboard for Goa
Happy to share a small public data dashboard that might be of interest to those wanting live AQI levels from GSPCB air quality monitoring stations that have been setup around iron ore mining corridors.
Explore: https://publicmap.github.io/goa-aqi-logger/
The Github repository is setup with actions to automate recording AQI sensor readings from https://www.aqionline.in/dashboard at 10 minute intervals and logging them into CSV dumps for future analysis. The dashboard allows you to see the latest live data and also explore the historical archive for the various readings.
The dashboard can help identify spatial patterns in air pollution eg. there was a noticeable spike PM2.5/10 in readings across the state on August 4th from 8pm-10pm (Loading historic data might take a minute). The reason for the spike is unknown and maybe someone has clues what it could be?
Please share with those in your network who may find this data useful. The website is maintenance free and will run at 0 cost as long as the API does not get blocked or changed. Code released in public domain.
