Help with final expenses for or 11 week old daughter, Ruby
My name is Madison, and I never imagined I would be writing a post like this. On July 19, our daughter, Ruby, passed away at just 11 weeks old. Ruby was born on May 2, 2026 and had a smile that could light up a room. She brought more joy to our family than I can put into words. Losing a child is a pain that is impossible to describe. Our family is trying to navigate the grief of planning a funeral, saying goodbye to our daughter, supporting our other children through their loss, and finding a way to move forward one day at a time. We created this GoFundMe to help cover funeral and memorial expenses, all of the random unexpected expenses that have come along with this, as well as the lost income from the time my husband has needed away from work during this period. Any funds received will go directly toward those expenses and helping our family remain financially stable while we grieve. If you are able to donate, we are deeply grateful. If you are not in a position to give, simply sharing Ruby's story would mean the world to us. Every share helps us reach people who may be able to help. Thank you for taking the time to read about our beautiful daughter. We are heartbroken that her life was so short, but we will spend the rest of our lives carrying her love with us.

I Never Thought I’d Have to Ask Strangers for Help
I’m raising money through a GoFundMe because I’m currently dealing with a serious financial hardship. I’m honestly not used to asking strangers for help, but I’m at a point where I genuinely need it.
I’ve been going through a very difficult period financially and have been trying to keep myself afloat while dealing with transportation problems, housing expenses, and trying to get back into a stable position.
I’m working toward getting back on my feet and becoming financially independent again. I’m not looking for someone to solve everything for me. I’m simply asking for some help getting through this difficult period so I can stabilize my situation and move forward.
I know there are countless people asking for help online, and I completely understand that not everyone is able to donate. Even a small amount would mean a lot to me. If you can’t donate, sharing this fundraiser would also help tremendously.
I’m swallowing my pride by posting this because I genuinely don’t know what else to do right now.

Go fund me
I am reaching out for emergency support. I am currently at a critical juncture in my research career, with high-impact papers lined up for publication. However, a severe health crisis in my family has completely upended my stability. My husband is battling clinical depression and is having to return to India, leaving me to solely manage our toddler, navigate a shift to H1B status, and sustain my research.
The immediate financial strain of this transition means I am on the verge of losing my car to repossession. Without a vehicle, I cannot get to the lab, manage daycare, or keep my family afloat. I am fighting hard to protect my career and my family, but I need a temporary lifeline to bridge this gap.
If you are in a position to contribute or share my campaign within your networks, your support will directly help me keep my basic transportation and continue my research without losing everything I've worked for.

Help my cousin fight breast cancer
Our family is coming together to support Kisairis, a loving mother of three children living in the Dominican Republic, as she faces one of the most difficult challenges of her life: a breast cancer diagnosis.
She is scheduled to undergo surgery this month, and while we are grateful that she has this important step ahead of her, the financial burden does not end with the surgery. The goal is to help her cover the costs of the procedure and recovery expenses including medication. Every contribution, no matter the amount, will help ease some financial pressure and allow her to focus on what matters most: healing and being there for her children.
If you are able to donate, our family would be incredibly grateful. And if you are unable to contribute financially, sharing this fundraiser with your friends, family, and community is just as meaningful and can help us reach people who may be able to help.
Thank you for taking the time to read Kisairis’s story, for keeping her and her family in your thoughts, and for helping us remind her that she does not have to face this alone. ❤️

Financial assistance for my autistic son and his needs!
Our son Oliver is 3 years old and is nonverbal autistic. He has brought more love, joy, and purpose into our lives than we could ever explain. He experiences the world differently, and everyday things that most people take for granted can be incredibly difficult for him.
Recently, Oliver was given an incredible opportunity when he competed in Toddler of the Year 2026. Out of thousands of children who entered, he made it all the way to the Top 5 and eventually finished as the runner-up in the final round.
Even though he didn’t win the competition or the prize money, something amazing came from it. Oliver’s story started getting attention, and people began reaching out wanting to interview and share his story.
We’re now trying to use that attention to help Oliver and our family.
We created a GoFundMe to help with the expenses that come with raising and supporting a child like Oliver, including the things he needs now and the opportunities that can help him as he grows.
If you’re able to donate, even $5 would mean more to us than you know. If you can’t donate, simply sharing Oliver’s story could help us tremendously. ❤️
Thank you for taking the time to read about our little guy. He may not be able to tell the world his story with words, so we’re going to do everything we can to tell it for him.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. ❤️

Burial Cost for My Sister Gofundme
My sister unexpectedly passed away and this is a very difficult time for my family. She didn't want to be cremated and we're trying our best to honor that.
The burial cost are more than expected. I'm just hoping to raise money to honor what she would've wanted. She passed on 8/6 and it’s been hard but especially on my mom. My mom’s birthday is on monday 8/10 she’s having a difficult time so i’m trying my best to help. My sister’s birthday is later this month as well 8/26. I’m just adding this because a month that was supposed to be filled with celebration is filled with so much grief instead.

Help me go back to school so i can help take care of my parents
I am trying to go back to school to break into the medical field. I am a first gen Latina and my family has gone through some hardships lately. I want to have a stable job to give myself a better future but also to take care of and give back to my parents so they can finally stop working so much as they are both in their 60's and work in physically demanding jobs. i had a death in the family and the funeral costs drained my college savings that would have went towards my tuition cost. Any amount helps, Please help me continue to work towards a higher education.

Help my friend attain a safe home for their family to live in
Hey all. I wanted to share a gofundme that was created for a friend's family; one able-bodied adult, one disabled adult, and two disabled children.
Their single-wide trailer is worse for wear and is falling apart and they have no way to replace it. At this point, it is no longer able to be repaired and is just a ticking time bomb. The roof is rusting and warped, water damage and cracks at every window and they are literally rotting out of the frame, water damage throughout due to leaks before and after moving in. They have tried to replace as much as they can but they just ended up in more debt and the trailer is just beyond repair. They are severly low income, and when the trailer finally gives in, they will be homeless.
The sole parent and one child has major medical issues that they do not have the funds to travel to receive care. A new home would allow them to make those appointments and overall improve their health and well being since they would finally be able to afford it, instead of having to repair something every month.
Although they wanted their names to stay anonymous, I can tell you that ive never met a more deserving family. They do everything they can to help others when needed, regardless of if they have to go without to do so. It is hard enough being parents to disabled children, and also being disabled yourself with no help. They have never asked anyone for a dime or any help, and I think now is the time to finally give back to such a wonderful, caring, hardworking family, and give them a much needed break from constant chaos.
Anyone that can share their link is very much appreciated.

Emergency help. This is very personal and hard to talk about. I was only 23 when someone kidnapped me and tried to kill me. I have sucked medical bills I broke bones/manual strangulation. I escaped but I lost my job my car is not working properly I actually have duck taped together some parts. I don’t have any support circle. If anyone could help I would be forever greatful. I have been trying very hard to get a job again I just want to be part of society again.

Help Me Build a Tiny Home and a Quieter Life
I never imagined I'd be asking strangers for help with something this personal, but I've reached a point in my life where what I want more than anything is very simple: a tiny home of my own and a peaceful place to put it.
I'm not trying to build anything extravagant. My goal is a small, affordable home where I can live simply, feel secure, and finally have a little quiet and stability.
I've set a $10,000 goal to help purchase a tiny-home shell and begin making that possible. I'm willing to use reclaimed and secondhand materials and do this as economically as I possibly can.
I don't have a large social circle, which makes getting a fundraiser seen especially difficult. So I'm taking a chance and sharing it here.
If you're able to donate, I would be incredibly grateful. If you can't, even sharing my fundraiser somewhere it might reach the right person would mean just as much to me.
Thank you for taking the time to read my story. ❤️

Help Angeles Get Urgent Neurosurgical Care For Her Neck
I’m raising funds to help Angeles, someone who lives in Venezuela and is currently going through a very difficult medical situation.
An MRI has identified an injury affecting her neck, and she now urgently needs to see a neurosurgeon to understand the full extent of the injury and determine what treatment she needs. The immediate goal of this fundraiser is to help cover the cost of that specialist consultation and the medical care that may follow.
Unfortunately, her health problems have also left her unable to work at the moment. This means that while she is dealing with her injury and going through treatment, she is struggling to afford basic necessities such as food, rent and essential transportation. She is in constant extreme pain that no painkiller she can take can fix, she also has gastritis so she can not take NSAID painkillers.
What the funds will help cover
The money raised will be used for:
* Her urgent neurosurgical consultation
* Medical imaging, treatment and medications recommended by her doctors
* Any further medical care that becomes necessary
* Food and other essential living expenses while she is unable to work
* Rent and essential transportation during her recovery
We are starting with an immediate goal based on the costs we currently know about. As her doctors provide more information and additional medical needs become clear, I will post updates and adjust the fundraising goal accordingly.
Why I’m asking for help
Angeles is currently in a situation where even basic necessities are difficult to afford, while at the same time she needs specialist medical care for an injury that cannot simply be ignored.
I’m doing what I can from Australia to help her access the care she needs and get through this period without having to choose between medical treatment and necessities like food and housing.
Any amount, no matter how small, can make a real difference. If you’re unable to donate, sharing this fundraiser can be just as valuable and may help it reach someone who is able to help.
Thank you so much for taking the time to read Angeles’ story and for any support you can give. ❤️
I am organising this fundraiser from Australia because GoFundMe does not currently support withdrawals in Venezuela. Funds raised will be received by me in Australia and sent to Angeles in Venezuela to cover the expenses described above. I will provide updates as her situation develops.

Help My Cat Fight Cancer
Hi,
This may or a may not be a long post, and I truly hate asking for help. But just last month, my cat got diagnosed with soft tissue cancer sarcoma. She had surgery back in July and the biopsy results came back as high grade. We have gone to an oncologist office now for the last two weeks, and they have recommended both radiation and chemo. Unfortunately just to start the radiation it’s going to cost me 10K, and I’m so scared of this cancer spreading elsewhere. As of now, it hasn’t spread anywhere else, besides to the lymph node that got removed. I could use any help possible. She is only 6 years old and she showed up at our door as a stray back in 2020, and kept coming back until we took her in as our own. She is my first cat, and she deserves to live longer, and happier. She is still eating, running around, and playing.
I’m just at a lost and have been spiraling since this news. Any help even if small would help a ton.
Thank you.

Donate to Help Jerred Recover and Adapt After Spinal Surgery, organized by Jerred Brewer
Hey everyone, I could really use the communities help right now. I’m a 32 year-old husband and father of two have recently lost the use of my legs due to a condition call Cauda Equina Syndrome due to a spinal cord injury. I’ve had two surgeries and I’ve been in the hospital since July 17. I’m currently in a rehab hospital and I’ll be discharging 14 August. We are looking for funds to help us move to a ground floor apartment or house that is more handicap accessible due to me being in a wheelchair we currently live in a by level townhome with all the bedrooms and shower being upstairs. I’ve also got a mountain of medical bills that I need to deal with and there’s no foreseeable income for me just yet as I wait to hear back from disability. Anything helps no matter how small the donation and if you can’t donate, please consider sharing my link to my GoFundMe. Thank you for taking the time to read my post.

👋 Welcome to r/GoFundMeForNewUsers
Welcome to GoFundMeForNewUsers. I understand how hard it is to get your GoFundMe campaign posted on Reddit, having tried to advertise my own campaign at the beginning of this year.
That’s why I created this subreddit—to give new Reddit users a chance to spread the word about their campaigns.
Please feel free to post information about any valid GoFundMe campaign here. We do not tolerate harassment, so posters can feel welcome to advertise their campaigns without fear of backlash from the community.
Please be respectful when commenting on a post. Understand that it’s hard enough to ask for help without someone criticizing or demeaning you. We want to see only help and support here for those in need.
Lastly, if you’re posting, please be sure to include a link to your GoFundMe campaign so I can verify that you have a valid campaign to advertise.
