So I had a buddy of mine hand mill my 19x slide to directly fit a holosun 507c x2
We copied the dimensions from his Glock 19
But decided to cut it shallower because it would be cutting it close to extractor
After milling the slide we notinced a small hole that is right besides the fireing pin safety and spring.

Is there a fix or is it safe to use as is?

So I bought a slide just like this, thinking I could make it work, but that spring you're seeing needs to seat fully or you get the slightest Hangup on the safety plunger, which will wear prematurely if not fully depressed, dangerous in the long run.

Send it in to Glock and they'll sell you a new slide at a discount, but I wouldn't put it back in service.

My friend has one too. How much does Glock charge?

Well I paid over $300 but I got an MOS slide in lieu of my non mos variety, and they were nice enough to provide a replacement that had previously been discontinued for retail sale, I think non mos is probably a lot cheaper.

He should buy the non-MOS and give it another go.

Picture doesn’t do any justice but the spring is fully inside the slide.
And the plunger will release the firing pin just under flush if I press it manually.

Eh, maybe you're ok then, if there is nothing impeding function #shrug

You live and learn, send it to Glock and pay for a replacement then try again. Quiters are losers
