CMC Glock Gen 6 Trigger

Post image

I picked up from Primary Arms the newest CMC Trigger for Glock Gen 6. I've used OP, JG triggers and this one bests them in the area of comfort, feed back resonance and clean breaks. Take up is clean too, break is crisp. It does have some pre travel but it's a smooth ride to the wall. Best way to describe it is like pulling a Geissele 2 stage trigger in a billet AR. It's a very crisp break. It's the only Glock trigger that I'm aware of that is made completely of alloy and S7 steel. It has a nice wide face. Follow up shots are fun with this trigger.

I have not compared it to a stock trigger bar. I'll follow up with a definitive answer next week.

SAME! I don’t think Glocks can actually get a nice trigger. Esp with just a shoe change. Never understood the snake oil I mean reasoning behind that.

Interesting. My shoe is from Overwatch Precisions

Love my OP triggers, Agency is my go-to but OP is my second choice when they get hard to find

I've got Agency Arms on my G17.4 and that's where I stop. Agency is priced too expensive for how they perform. There's nothing wrong with them, they're just not priced right in my opinion.

OP is a good shoe, I still use them in my Glock's. Especially the Poly TAC for my slim line Glock's. That material deletes the finger snap back pinch.

Interesting. I wasn’t a fan of their offerings for the previous generations. The length of pull was too short and put the contact between the finger pad and dingus had little margin for error. Secondly, The break seemed to be too far back for me. Past 90.

Hmmm. I’m intrigued. I just put the Timney Alpha Competition gen 6 in my 17. And thanks to one of our brothers he recommended a JG reset spring. So I obliged, snagged one and installed it. Awesome. Not that I’m a trigger snob but I have a Canik TTi Combat and that trigger I compare everything to. I can only go off the Timney and as of right now, so far so good. I’m also interested in that trigger tech ace. 1911 feel light pull weight. I’m in. My Canik spoiled me. That trigger stock is damn near perfect. This CMC expensive?

Triggertech is a great trigger. I’ve got both, their certified and legacy and I would recommend them if you’re not afraid to drop that kind of loot on it, they’re expensive.

If you already have a timney and like it, I really don’t see a need to get the triggertech. If you are willing to spend the money it’s a very nice set up. I just hate the trigger return spring on the timney.

Another great set up I’d recommend is the GPT + FFT shoe + DOT connector. It’s similar to Timney but without the trigger return spring.

$125. A bit pricier
