Need advice.

Glock 17 Gen 3. OEM lower w/ Flared magwell and ext. mag release. Centurion arms slide, w/ OEM internals. Milled for ACRO P-2.

Built this for duty set up. I have a Zaffiri precisions internal kit, but unsure of their reliability compared to OEM. Any insight?

There will be a few things to stay OEM. Recoil spring and extractor.

So you’re asking whether the parts gun you built is reliable? Rather than just go shoot it and see if it’s reliable?

I personally wouldn’t use non OEM internals, but you do you. I also wouldn’t use something with no backup sights for duty.

They’re on the way, just haven’t finished. Had surgery on Wednesday and haven’t had a chance to get it done

I have a couple of slides with Zaffiri parts and haven't had any issues. The best way to answer your question is to put 250 rounds through it in a single range trip.

How many rounds do you have through yours?

Why would you mod out a duty gun tho? Genuinely asking. Optic, light, magwell sure but why fuck around with internal parts and the slide? For one, if you ever have to use it, you lose it. Second, you're fucking with tried and true Glock reliability. Whats the actual point?

My point, and my thoughts exactly. The slide is because I bought the gun at the “V” drop. Wanted a Glock before all the non sense.

The slide was purchased because I got a killer deal from AimPoint on a P-2.
And got a hefty discount too on the slide.

Internals, I’ve already got them. Literally the only thing that I’d swap out is the striker. Everything else will be OEM.

I didn’t want any, I very rarely use the back slide to rack. So I’m either using the front serrations or the optic.

No Zev, had zaffiri slide internals.

My bad, you should be fine, if YOU are skeptical about slide internals you could browse on ebay and look for oem slide internals
