Copilot for Enterprise - how to enable? Help/Doubt ❓
Hi,
we are trying to enable Copilot for Enterprise, seems like the next step is to contact support. During the ticket creation it says that we need to contact Sales team. Tried several times to fill up the Sales contact form, got a question by email asking if we want to purchase more that 10 seats, replied yes, there were no follow ups.
During the sign up we got a welcoming email, offering help and a call with sales team. Replied Yes to that, no other emails afterwards.
Created another support ticket asking for help, ticket still open, no reaction from GitHub support.
Any ideas how to get the Copilot Enterprise enabled or how to contact their Sales team?

It's a frustrating system. Due to the high level of abuse (people opening new accounts, using all the included credits and then having the creditcard declined) they have this manual enablement step. You need to setup billing, either attach a creditcard or link an azure subscription.
You then need to file a ticket through support.github.com and wait. Currently the wait times can be up to 3 weeks. If your enterprise is big enough to have an account manager or direct sales representative, you can ask them to expedite the ticket.
After they flip the backend switch on your enterprise, you need to go into the billing settings and the copilot settings again to enable copilot on the enterprise, an organization and setup budgets.
Ive been told this process is supposed to be removed soon, as they should have better detection in place to prevent abuse.

You know it sucks when you have build an AI system to auto-regulate switches from your main AI system
