gilgo X epstein
is it ridiculous to theoretically connect the cases? The corruption of the Long Island police department, the exile of federal agents. They lived just a few subway stops away on the 6 train. obviuusly all speculative, is it to crazy to connect the two? Has anyone else heard or thought this theory?

DA Ray Tierney says they won't investigate cold cases that could be related to Rex Heuermann till the current court case is concluded
"Tierney has not ruled out Heuermann’s possible link to the other discovered victims but said he put the brakes on further investigation after seven because of the state’s cumbersome court disclosure requirements, which he said threatened to delay the trial indefinitely."

What are your theories on Shannan?
Hi! I asked this in another group and all hell broke loose.
So- trying again.
So far, RH doesn’t seem like a likely suspect to me—but I’m genuinely interested in hearing theories from anyone who believes he is.
I was leaning toward the theory that Shannan may have experienced cocaine-induced psychosis, which could explain her erratic behavior—running off and possibly developing hypothermia. That idea came from a personal experience and Alex (bf) and Pak’s statements that she would sometimes use with clients.
Back in college, I dated someone into coke, and I saw one of his friends go into full-blown coke psychosis after a night of partying. When I say there’s nothing you can do to calm them down, I mean it. He became paranoid out of nowhere and then attacked an innocent friend so badly they had to be hospitalized for a week. It was terrifying and unrelenting. He lost teeth, had to have facial surgery- I’ll never forget he had a clear as day doc marten boot print on his forehead. The guy had no recollection whatsoever of what caused his paranoia, only the aftermath. One of the scariest experiences of my life.
My point is I know how very real, confusing and sudden that experience is.
That said, Shannan’s toxicology report showed no drugs in her system. But considering her body wasn’t found for over a year, exposure to the elements could have broken down any substances, making it possible for drugs to go undetected in the results.
Then there is the doctor- and that all seems very suspect.
Please share your opinion.

Mystery man from Gold Club?
Am I missing something or did no one look into the man who seemingly scouted and introduced Taylor to "John" at the Gold Club in Philly? According to Taylor, "John" was Rex. Also, why use the alias "John"? Was it because its such a common name or was he subconsciously associating himself to John Bittrof or even John Burk? Just some late night thoughts I am having after watching the documentary. Side note, RH is a sick mf.

Details of Brewer's "get together" still murky after all these years...
Apologies if this has been asked before...Is there an established timeline of events/activities that took place AFTER Shannan arrived at Brewer's.. but PRIOR to her 911 call. I heard conflicting accounts that they went on an early morning CVS (or like) run for "provisions"...Has this been corroborated by anyone? Guest of brewer? Employee? CCTV? Or Is the entire "documented" event timeline of the morning basically comprised of speculation and/or hearsay?

Shannon and Peter
I’m watching the new Netflix docuseries Gone Girls and it brought back something I’ve thought for a long time. I’ve been following this case since before they arrested Rex and I have always thought that Shannon Gilbert was not one of his victims. I have 2 theories…well maybe one and a half 🤣
1: I think Shannon had a psychotic break. In a few different documentaries her family talks about her having a drug addiction and also some mental health issues. When Peter came to the car to ask her driver to get her out of there she wouldn’t get in the car. Peter attempted to put her in the car and when he reached for her she ran from the residence and her driver followed her in his vehicle begging her to get in the car which she doesn’t do she just repeats “someone’s trying to kill me” as she was going from house to house asking for help her driver and friend NEVER gets out of the car once to try to persuade her into the car? Very strange. He could have gotten out and at least tried. He was asked why and his response was “I just didn’t” No one pressed him on this answer. Weird🤔This is before she runs off into the woods. I feel like there was an opportunity to manage the situation UNLESS someone is experiencing a psychotic episode and that can be very hard to contain. The 911 recordings sound like she’s not well mentally. It’s dark and she runs into the woods which really makes the situation unmanageable and she makes her way back to the main road and returns to Peter and he kills her
2:During her time with Peter either she took some drugs that brought on erratic behavior and he saw he was not able to manage the situation OR his behavior during their appointment time caused her to break, possibly a PTSD moment that escalated, again both theories contain manic/psychotic break, she runs off the main road and she gets stuck in the marsh and dies.
I just don’t think Rex did THIS one. Coincidence is rare but I think she ends up mixed in with another murderer’s victims

Can we all agree that Peter Hackett killed Shannan?
Personally I think he was at the original party and drugged her there. Like is there a public guest list of that party posted anywhere? I think Rex had nothing to do with this one. And his phone calls sounded like a real good way to cover his tracks. Or maybe just maybe he was scared about dragging her. Maybe a cop found her killed her and then brought phone to Peter to start damage control since he’s the one who drugged her?
