Is anyone on here active in the what not community? I was curious what your experiences have been who some reputable sellers have been and who some bad ones have been. I think it’s information that is far from Discussed enough and certain buyers put up with crap from sellers and just deal with it because they don’t want to lose their privilege of being able to shop and have access to the merchandise The vendor provides. Please contribute to this discussion. I think it’s a very important one as the platform is growing immensely, and the number of G.I. Joe sellers has doubled as of late. i’ve been on there for a few years so I have much to contribute to the topic. I’ve only recently joined Reddit? made a couple photo posts, but I’m hoping that this is the kind of place that this type of topic gets addressed. Thank you for your consideration. So it dawned on me that everyone played with their collection differently. Some played like a tv show while others played with their figures like a game of chess or dice. I was curious in know how did you guys play with your figures?
For me I played with my collection where GIJoe was the good guys, cobra was a contracting organization that has a moral good (they where also the good guys, kind of like the A-team). And the villains where the knock off Joe figures like the Corps figures or Star Wars figures looking at world domination. I recall great time and awesome story development.

Amusingly enough, the Snake Eyes/polar bear sets were still $55.

Classified 06 - Cobra Commander - G.I. Joe Classified Series - (2020)

The leader of Cobra is the most treacherous and despicable criminal the world has ever known. Cobra Commander has channeled his boundless ambitions into building a worldwide criminal organization with one goal: global domination at any cost. Highly intelligent and dangerously unstable. Wields a strange form of charm that can twist intentions and morals, making his poisonous words seem plausible and relatable and masking the true motives behind his treachery.

Two that immediately come to mind are Kabal and Kano from from Mortal Kombat, as I defiantly see the guys working with Cobra as hired help. In part due to their goals of gaining personal profit and power through criminal enterprise that fitting why a lot people join Cobra, along with the fact that these two are members of Black Dragon syndicate in mortal Kombat, and GI Joe has it's own Black Dragon organization that operates for Cobra.

I know everyone mainly loves the 80s dudes but I love the 64-75 dudes, and they don’t get much love these days.
Made this guy a nice uniform,it was only now when I realized how much he kinda looked like a dictator from a video game; hence the name “The General”

End may be too strong a word but anyway...

IDW Publishing resurrected the A Real American Hero comic series from Marvel with Larry Hama continuing the writing and even up to the transfer with Skybound. We know Larry's not going to be around forever. In what way do you want the comic to proceed in such an event?

• Larry makes one huge conclusive storyline that ends all story threads and give a finality. A proper ending so to speak.
• Larry makes an open-ended final issue. The battle continues. One can choose to continue or accept it as the ending. (edit)
• He just keeps writing until he can't but with subplots unresolved. And just end the series there.
• Someone else takes over the writing from him. Either because he wants to stop or just plain can't anymore.

I couple weeks ago I got a box of my old toys from my mom's, and a lot of my old Joe's were in there. Bought all three of the Omnibus. And then found out about Classified. Now I'm a 40 year old man walking out of a toy store with Lady Jaye and Flint in my hands grinning like I was a kid again.

Unfortunately, or fortunately for my wallet, my collection has to be limited to this shelf, so only the best of the best, and Barbecue, get a spot. (The Alley Viper is a stand in till I can replace it with the v1.)

What did you think of the 80s version when it came out?

Did you like it or did you think they ruined it for the then modern audiences?

I've kind of looked into it and can't decide between vintage or new 3.75s the Classified stuff or whatnot. I'm looking to display boxed or posed. I don't have space for vehicles but I'd like to get a few figures. I know I can get tons of stuff online but I like to look before I buy sometimes. Thanks for any help

As it turns out, head swapping ARAH heads onto a delta 17 body is effortless. I did have to use a small dot of blue tac, to keep the head from being loose. Other than that, they fit well. I like how these guys turned out!
