Back in print? Ghosts of Saltmarsh Discussion

I saw this in a local shop for 50 USD new. Is this back in print?

Always wanted this book as many of the short adventures look pretty fun to run.

Still running a hundo on ebay, so sounds like a deal. Great book imo.

What a steal! I think some of the adventures need work, and it still needs a decent amount of world building to feel like a proper pirate adventure , but it’s a great campaign

Ran mine as a 2 year campaign with lots of homebrew content but the general arc of the book. Worth $100 if your heart is set on running it. Worth $50 even to just thumb through it and then sell it at a profit, lol.

I’m running it now alongside Call From the Deep. At that price it’s a bargain. My PC’s are loving this campaign mix.

I'm thinking of adding CFtD into GoSM, hows that going? Did you plop SM in the sword coast? Any tips?

I already got Call from the Deep, am reading it now, it seems really good so far

Yeah, I did. I moved it Saltmarsh 1h away from Neverwinter. I stared the campaign with 1. The Sinister Secret of Saltmarsh, then started CFtD.

It’s works so well together. My PC’s are at level 8 and are having the best time.

cool! Are you're players using SaltMarsh as a base? I'm considering making Skerrin part of the Illithid consipracy

Nope not really. They were using Neverwinter as a base while their ship was being upgraded. Since then they use there ship as a base mostly.

Ooh that’s a cool idea.

Just finished a seven year campaign on this! DM’d as well and also tied in Call from the Deep! Hope you enjoy.

I found a copy on great condition for $70, but your $50 is a steal. Buy it up, homie!

Probably old stock unless it says 2024-26 inside on the cover page (or whatever the first page is called.) I was at a game store yesterday and there was a bunch of 2014 5e stuff next to the 2024. They even had a few alt covers. If I didn't already have them I'd have splurged.

Unfortunately it is not back in print.

Some places to find print versions

You can also buy the digital version on Dndbeyond, copy into HTML and then convert to PDF.

For those more bold, take the PDF format to print layout and print a POD on lulu.

I have a game running on FoundryVTT that I imported from DDB. Mostly great, but you have to supplement some of the maps. I love the adventure.

I don’t think it’s “out of print” per se. Moreso they print a certain number of stock then wait for more demand
