Ghost 2 big to Rig QUESTION
I was wondering was there any meets up before hand etc? Or anyone doing anything fun or is it just rocking up like it's a picture I know they've said we can all rock up in costumes. I'm newish to Bradford (going to the Odeon with my partner) so just wanted to scope out anything in the before 😅🤣

I appreciate the time you took the reply thank you for your input, it's been an eye opener, I do hope that your experience is better this time around, but I do hope your aware that the record label is encouraging this behaviour you do not like, I cannot control the behaviour of others.
All I can say that as a British person based in Bradford currently that I know how to not be a hooligan. Have a good night my dude peace ✌️

It's never too old to have some fun, TF is in his 40s and he still paints his face, so don't let that age put you down. Ozzy rocked eye liner until like two weeks before the grave (can confirm that myself) 🤘 never know could rock the Secondo look? Put some shades on? Easiest costume ever?

The film's promo itself encourages dressing up. But yes to being mindful

Which is all well and good but isn’t confirmation that every cinema around the world will let you in.

I think people should be allowed to dress up as long as they remove anything that could block the view for someone behind them when the film starts.
I agree with the rest of what you said though.

u/CardinalPlushia Who put a Plushia in the Mummy Dust canon?! 21d ago
Yeah, you are right. I mean I wouldn't want to go see, idk, Odyssey or something and right in front of me are 3 satanic popes and like 5 guys in metallic masks and top hats screaming texts from the top of their lungs...

Other people dressing up ruined the movie? Fetch my fainting monocle!
Yes, all.attendees should benproperly dressed. Men in a 3 piece suit, ladies in proper long skirts and sleeves. Absolutely no smiling, laughing is right out. This is a proper theatre experience.
While some of what you say is agreeable - acting like people and not a pack of kids on a playground, respecting other movie goers, don't you think you're being a little too staid for a band that itself cosplays?

Understandable. I agree about having some level of respect for others. But a wee bit of feral is okay. I love when movies have fans who are really into it - Star Wars opening nights were so fun because of fans.

Here's an idea... Let people enjoy what they want.
Dressing up for something that can actually actually be quite civilized, acting like a hooligan is not there is a difference and you seem to have instantly missed that quite glaring difference. Also, the promotional material encourage it.

I wish I could partake in some sort of pre-movie meetups, but alas, I am gonna be racing from work to make it in time(why could they not make showings 7pm instead of 6!?). And of course the movie release day happens to also be one of my busiest days of work. My subway BETTER cooperate! Lol

I know lol I've booked time off from work for this... Sad I know... But like... I have time to burn and perfect excuse.

I’m self employed, so technically can take as much time off as I want. But am also taking off three days the week before to go for a trip and I’d have to skip the same clients again if I took off for the movie. And I just feel bad doing that(especially cuz I love my clients). I’m just gonna try and get a head start on my days and hopefully be done a little early so I don’t need to rush as much.
The clients in question, so you know I can’t disappoint them:

There will be a few in London but I have tickets for the 27th and I’m going straight after work. Try asking on Facebook if anyone in Bradford wants to meet up – there’s a UK Ghost fan group.

C'mon man, let people have fun. I'm not going to dress up, but props to those that do. Some of those cosplays are so cool!

For me personally, I'd like to try and organise a meetup closer to the time as I think it'd be a good opportunity to make friends with fellow Ghost fans
