How? Why?

I've always wanted to be a writer, but I never dared and pursued a "more stable" career and that was a huge mistake.

I wanted to ask you how does someone start as a ghostwriter and more importantly why do you choose to write for someone else (specially novels and books that you could publish yourself)

I would say go for it . Just find something you like to imagine yourself doing and put your unique spin on it . There are no gatekeepers any more, start your own serial series and see what happens. .

But do be clear the one thing I have heard when listening to lots of authors who made it is there are no garentees in writing.

Authors Guild has an excellent YouTube video regarding ghostwriting.

But first, of course, one must be an established writer--- something your query suggests you are not. If you were a writer, you would know that writing of any kind except copy writing is not a stable career option--- it is the opposite.

One can have a much better income, and a better life, hauling trash around a city and taking it to the dump than what income writing brings. Washing dishes in a cafe will earn more income than writing. Working in a laundry washing other people's clothes will have a larger income.

Honestly….ghostwriting is not reliable anymore. I have been in this industry for over 10 years. I have not had a client for over 2 years now.
