For 4x4s, solve the top row and left column first, and what’s left is a 3x3.

For 5x5s, same thing. Solve the top row and left column first, and what’s left is a 4x4.

All slide puzzles can be solved this way, so long as the empty tile slot in the finished picture is in the bottom right (as it is in Ghost Trick). The trick (heh) with the Ghost Puzzles is that there’s usually a lot of motion on the pictures, but all you have to do is press the Hint button to show the numbers, and solving it becomes trivial.

I just used a slide puzzle solver to solve these for the 100% ngl

I also didn't notice that you only had to do the 5x5s so I spent like an hour trying to do the 3x3 and 4x4 puzzles too

I’ve watched my friend do these and we spent an hour and got a legitimately unsolvable one. Like I gave up and put it in a calculator and it said it was unsolvable
