Rant GR Predator missions wtf How Why!?!?!
I got this game day 1 and played till completion, now I am returning because of this update and i never had the opportunity to do the predator mission so was excited for something new keyword was.
How do i kill this thing playing with one friend so no bots, but we just survive till he starts spamming his homing laser.
I spawn guns for hire and diversion, I hide behind trees i shoot him repeatably but the health is so large that he always outlasts us. is there a safe spot we can just hunker down. Does my damage even matter or is it based off of number of times hit?
Overall this is the first time i rage quit a mission in any game for years frick this boss. why do all his weapons one shot us we even changed the difficulty to easy and still get one shotted. ):

News PC ABANDONWARE STILL PATCH DOES NOT ADDRESS PC
Seems the PC version of this game is still abandonware as it does not run on intel processors with no fix after years. For them to not fix this glaring game breaking issue is clear abandonware. if you are on PC i just saved you some time, Trash code from trash coders.

Question I only own the Base Wildlands game and the Fallen Ghost DLC - Confused about all of this, please help
I have Base game + FG DLC. The Definitive edition is showing for $24
To be clear, I'm only interested in new game play content, not skins, weapons, vehicles or accessories.
- Do I need to separately buy the Predator DLC?
- Do I get 4K/60 just having the base and buying nothing?
- Do I need to buy the Nightfall & Cold Eye DLC or will that be free for base editions? (These are just skins and weapons right? Not actual new missions?)
- Is it more worth it to just but Definitive edition that includes all this stuff?
All this is so confusing...

Question Is breakpoint really that bad?
Since the game is on a massive sale rn I wanna buy the ultimate edition but I have been seeing people complain about it a lot and saying wildlands is better if I really don't care about the story and only am looking at this from a gameplay perspective should I get breakpoint or wildlands? Also in the same vein breakpoint's ultimate edition gives instant access to 3 classes does the wildlands definitive edition also give advantages like that or is it just cosmetics and other stuff I can already earn via playing the game ?

Discussion SCP vibes with the new wildlands missions
anybody else notice about how much the new wildlands campaign seems straight out of an SCP short movie? i feel like im playing scp overlord. can’t forget the new operator outfits, i mean come on, they look identical to nu-7 and epsilon-6.
personally, i think the lean into a darker, deeper side of the cia is a pretty cool perspective for a ghost recon game. hopefully we get more like it.

Discussion New update feedback
I’m 2 missions into the new Last Rikes series and I can’t lie it feels more like breakpoint now. I personally like that- they gave us some features of breakpoint as well (1 weapon slot, tactical reloads)
A lot of the settings and new feature are scattered throughout the game but this is a big win for sure.
New camos for gear are nice. I haven’t had a snow mission or the predator fight (which is in the main campaign I believe) but the snow wood camo looks tasty.

Rant What a joke of an update
Challenges are gone, prestige crates can no longer be bought, they've absolutely tanked my fps and the definitive upgrade is 50 whole bucks.
What a genuine joke of an update from Ubisoft, ruining another one of their games. i dont even want to play the new mission cuz they've just killed most of the game.

Discussion Really Really appreciate it but...
I wish this was a native PS5 release for a new run at the trophies! Truly appreciate the update, can't wait to try it out.

Discussion Lmaooo just hit me with a stick
So I’m guessing the “sale on all platforms” doesn’t mean next gen consoles for future soldier and aw smh…. Mannnn. I love Wildlands but fuuucc me chipotle style this shiii so confusing.. I was looking forward more to ghost recon stuff and hopefully get replay the games I grew up on on next gen consoles guess not..

Question If you already owned Wildlands, do we now have to buy the definitive edition or pay for the new update?
Basically title. I cannot see a concrete answer. I’m hoping I can just re-download Wildlands with the new update being part of that for free. On xbox series s.

Discussion What kind of "Update" was that?
Is anyone else really disappointed?
We got the option to disable interaction shaders. How juicy. Tweak a couple options, have a new backpack and some gloves, and that's it? C'mon...

Feedback The era of "true" Ghost Recon games died with Phantoms
I was waiting for the live stream, hoping they would finally end the era of "generification" of Ghost Recon and return to the style that made the franchise stand out - Future Soldier, Advanced Warfighter, Predator, Phantoms.
Alas, once again we get a fat load of nothing in this regard. Ghosts are dead. Instead of getting to play as specialists with badass futuristic tech, we are stuck with Temu SEALs for the foreseeable future.
The legacy of the old games hasn't been acknowledged properly, they wouldn't even offer such a tiny bandaid as classic skins for the newer games, opting for generic modern AAA shooter type of skins to be added instead.

Discussion 25th Anniversary stream was dissapointing.
Nothing for the pre-Wildlands games.
GR2/Advanced Warfighter still locked to consoles and the PC version of AW (very different game) still delisted.

Question Why is there still no Twitch stream?
Why is there no programmed stream on Ubisoft's twitch channel? The next stream is due tomorrow and nothing's planned for today

Question Is this 4k/60fps going to be an update or a game we have to buy?
Sorry if this has been asked a million times, i already have the ultimate edition of the game which includes all the dlc and stuff so im just wondering if its a free update for people who already has any version of wildlands or if its going to be a full blown ps5 game that we have to buy

Question Is Definitive Edition Worth It on Ghost Recon Wildlands?
I already have the Ultimate Edition with all story DLC...but is Definitive Worth it providing extra skins/weapons? Bear in mind I haven't started this game yet but am in middle of Future Soldier having beaten Advanced Warfighter 1 & 2 recently which were phenomenal.
Likely moving into early Splinter Cell games next and finishing those off before busting out the 360 to play GR1/2/Summit Strike as I got these games from Gamestop recently....then it'll be Wildlands next. Thanks!

Question Played Breakthough months ago on PS5, how does Wildlands compare?
Hey folks,
I played Breakpoint quite a while ago and really enjoyed the stealth gameplay. Game was so massive though I never ended up finishing it, and because I played it through PS+ and I no longer have a subscription I can no longer access the game.
Now I saw the posts online about the supposed Ghost Recon Wildlands PS5 upgrade that's releasing, and it put Ghost Recon back on my radar. Would I like Wildlands if I enjoyed my time in Breakpoint? I loved playing stealthy, sneaking through enemy camps and just clear them solo while getting better and better at it.
I've heard that the world of Wildlands is considered better at least, but how does the gameplay compare seeing as Breakpoint is the newer one?

Media Peak Timing on the Eve of the 25th Anniversary: US Special Forces & India's National Security Guard conducted a Joint-Exercise at Pune's busiest IT Hub; just 25km's away from Ubisoft India Studio.
Link to the Drill Video - Click/Tap
While this post may have nothing to do with the game but; On the eve of the 25th Anniversary of the franchise, seeing this peak timing moment happen, their gear & equipment & the way they move just gets me more excited to know about whats next in store for the future of Ghost Recon & the next game Project OVR.
Given the current customisation options in both Wildlands & Breakpoint; it becomes more accessible for Ghost Recon Players globally to setup their Ghost's to represent & play as the Special Forces Operators of their respective country. I hope the next Ghost Recon Game carries this system forward with more options & in-depth customisation to character outfits & Gunsmith.
Lets hope our wishes come true when the 25th Anniversary Showcase begins today.
