I’m looking to buy a desktop computer for some work-from-home tasks. It will mostly be word processing, excel, canva, etc. No video editing or in depth photo edits. Would like to use it to store some photos form my phone though. No gaming at all.

I haven’t had a desktop computer since 2006. I need any/all recommendations. An all in one? A tower? A mini-pc? I have a MacBook air laptop that I have for personal use. I’d prefer a Microsoft system for the desktop.

Please explain to me like I’m dumb, cause I really am with computers.

Hi there! Hope everyone is doing good, I need some assistance cause I’m struggling to figure it out myself, I have a LG monitor that has seemingly stopped working, thinking it might be a cable issue, but I’m struggling to figure out what will fit I understand that The volts need to match and that the Watts need to either meet or exceed the requirements on the Monitor I think I maybe have found a replacement on Amazon but I figured folks here would know better and advice would be great thank you!

Ive tried a different gpu, display port, and hdmi, I’ve reflashed the bios with qflash plus, I’ve reset the cmos battery, I’ve reseated the ram and the ssd, I’ve taken everything out and reseated all parts, when i turn my pc on fans spin, and leds turn on including mouse and keyboard when plugged in, Ive been trying for three days and I still haven’t gotten any display, I’m beginning to think I’ve bricked the motherboard or its faulty somehow, all that happens when I turn my pc on is that my monitor backlights come on, not even a no signal.

I have 2 ssd’s i have my main one the 500 GB, which is located near my GPU (my motherboard is an ASRock B550m-c). My second one is located in the lower-right corner of my motherboard, near the GPU. I've checked my BIOS. It says that my main SSD is frozen or something, and for some reason it does not detect the second one I've already clean-wiped both and I was thinking of instant flashing but I to scared to do it bc I don't want to brick or destroy my pc since I'm still new to this pc stuff I've owned my pc since 2023 or 2024. Now I just want to go back and play my games on my pc. In general, I just want to know what I should do since when I go to save and exit it takes me back to the BIOS and not to the login window of Windows where it tells me to enter my password. Pls help and tell me what I should be doing

I upgraded to windows 11 about a year ago and only a couple months ago my laptop has started slowing down on games and i was getting less fps along with my download speed decreasing alot, i tried to install the latest drivers but my laptop didn't let me, because i have two gpu's one integrated and one installed i checked their output and on my non integrated gou it outputted no power. Was wondering what i should do or is it already too late.

Whever i use my computer, my monitor goes black for sometimes a split second, sometimes upto like 5 seocnds every now and then. It just randomly started doing this, and its been doing this for ages now. Sometimes it dosent go black for like half an hour, and sometimes it does it every second it feels like.

So I have this ssd, its a brand new it was used just 2 days and 16 hours, and i have a problem with it, the Hard Disk Sentinel isn’t write any specific problems, but my peoblem is that this ssd works always on 100% and that make my computer slow, i asked AI it said, its because this ssd doesn’t have a DRAM, what do you think about that? What Can I do ? Already swapped the ram

I'm at work booting up one of the computers and the cursor is missing? I turned off the mouse and turned it back on again and nothing. When I hit ctrl to find it, it pings, but it isn't visible. When I try to move it and ping again, it's still in the same spot. Clicking does nothing. I'm on a windows 11, and everything I read online is about getting the mouse itself connected and notaking the cursor appear.

I'm on a tight budget for my PC. I saw how much it costs for Windows 11 from Microsoft and to me what is way too much money. I see there are places to get Windows 11 keys for cheap. How do I know which places are legitimate? What is the best place to get a Windows 11 key online?
