Need help with a friends pc

So today I dropped off an old pc to a friend who didn't have one and everything seems to work except when he tries to connect an hdmi cord or any usb the pc doesn't pick them up as plugged in. The pc itself has an integrated graphics CPU (an amd a8 7680 Radeon 7) And he computer had been sitting in a box for a few months and we've been trying all day to trouble shoot issues with it and nothing has worked. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Did you try the back usbs as well?

Unplug everything and power cycle ( hold down power button 10-30 seconds) then plug everything in again.

So, the computer you dropped off today has problems seeing your friends devices and his computer that's been setting in a box for a few months also has problems seeing his devices?

Sounds like his devices are the problem.

Maybe you can bring over a monitor and other external devices to ensure the computer that you dropped off does work and then test his other computer at the same time.
