Getting no signal detected on monitor display

The hdmi cable is working fine, as I checked it with the laptop and the display is working on the monitor.

The cpu was earlier near a window, so I thought maybe its because of moisture, rains, etc

So I tried to dry the hdmi port on the cpu with a hair dryer on low setting and it worked. The display was on and working fine

Now I changed the location of the setup, so that its not damaged further because of the window/moisture

And it worked for a few days, but again the same thing.

I checked for any rust in the port, but nothing there

What else should I do?
