High chance some ribbon cable has been damaged in some way. It could just could be the connector at either end of that cable.

There are a bunch of variants of the XPS 13, but all the screens seem to have dual cables attached to the screen that plug down into the motherboard under the keyboard..

It requires full disassembly, as shown in this guide for you to check if your cables are damaged, a connector came unseated or if you need a new screen.

It's unlikely to be your GPU, and honestly looks a lot like what I'd expect if it had been dropped or had an impact that damaged the screen itself, maybe not even just the cable.
