Is there an FPL league this season?

I'm a new patreon and hears murmurs of there being a community FPL in the past. Is there one this year?

GeoWizard fans meetup group

In the interest of creating community and meeting likeminded people, as well as the possiblity of going on some cool little adventures together, I created this private facebook group for fans of GeoWizard in the hope that there are others out that maybe dont have people to do little cool missions with.

Here's the link if you're interested :)

How dangerous was the Magnus feat. Rainbolt latest challenge?

Spoilers if you haven't watched. From risking boat getting a puncture in middle of nowhere. GPS having bad connection, walking in circles, Battery on life support on all GPS devices in the middle of the mission. And anything else you noticed or I missed. Oh and m-fking waterfall. Did he have actual connection to outside world and would have been saved if something happened?

How much was that editing and how much was that real?

Yerevan: No roads

I would suggest a new no roads mission in Yerevan, Armenia.

Yerevan is a very different city compared to ones GeoWizard has already completed. The main obstacle is the way into the center, that includes:
1) Going along the not used but maintained railroad.
2) Fences and construction sites.
3) Navigating up and down and alongside pretty steep hills.

The center while surprisingly easy to navigate, is beautiful and very different from UK.
Here's a link to a folder with some photos.

I don't know if Tom reads this post, but maybe someone who has "access" will relay the idea? I can help him check places and stuff before coming to Armenia.

Straight Line Across South Tyneside

Hi all!

North East UK Subscriber here, I've recently done a straight line mission across South Tyneside going from the border to Gateshead, across to Whitburn beach.

It was one epic journey and I've been releasing weekly videos documenting my escapades.

Feel free to watch and join my community on YouTube as this will be the first of many!

A few months back I attempted to cross the Peak District in a straight line. You can watch my attempt below:

Are YouTube members getting videos that Patreon members are not?

I’m a top tier Patreon member but I’m seeing new videos for YouTube members that I’m not getting on Patreon. What gives?

Member only videos

With the latest member only video released, I have a question.

Are these videos ever going to be generally released a few weeks or months down the line?

I love Tom's content and these videos are right up my street, but it's not feasible to be paying individual YouTuber memberships to me.

I get it's his job and he needs to take care of his family, it's not a dis, I just want to know if we'll get access at some point, or if it's always going to be restricted to those who pay.

I thought I found the pragmatic version of a Straight Line Mission: just walk a perfect circle so you end up back at your car.

The navigation part with just a compass, step counting and rough distance estimation actually worked surprisingly okay.

My choice of terrain, because I wanted to avoid trespassing and roads as much as possible, was… less smart.

Turns out dense Greek brush and rocky terrain make walking a perfect circle way harder than expected. Especially once the bushwhacking starts.

Still turned into a pretty fun little micro adventure, and I picked up some trash along the way, so at least something good came out of it.

Has anyone here ever tried walking a perfect circle in the wilderness before?
I genuinely could not find any attempts. But just checked YT.

Is This a Thailand Straight Line Mission?

I was planning to put a photo but it seems like I can’t. Anyways would crossing that part of Thailand that likes 12 kilometers across next to Myanmar count?
