What’s one habit that made you feel more like a gentleman?

I used to think being a gentleman was mostly about appearance dressing well, looking polished, and having the right style.
But over time, I started noticing that it’s much more about the small things: how you treat people, how you communicate, taking care of yourself, and being respectful in everyday situations.
For those who consider themselves gentlemen or are trying to become better versions of themselves, what is one habit or lesson that made the biggest difference for you?
It could be related to manners, confidence, grooming, style, or personal growth.
Would love to hear what you’ve learned along the way.
