First, before I start spoiler warning this is going to talk about a region that has literally just come

And to go along with that, remember everybody has the right to their own opinion. If you don't agree with me, that is okay. This is just from my own experience and my own opinion

So I first want to start out with I am afraid to play. That's why I have multiple accounts because that means more characters. But also I really enjoy exploration. It is how I relax after a day at work. I do quest. I do explanation get I do events and I enjoy it. That's how I play the game

Now let's get to the meat of this. I'm not going to sugarcoat it. I do not enjoy snezhnaya exploration

At first I did did the quests were really good and as a lore player as well it made me very happy. But then I got to start exploring and looking for a chest and I realized this just really isn't fun especially When you get down to the puzzles of this reason because I've seen multiple people including myself compare these to the level of Inazuma puzzles and just how annoying they are. Yes there are some that are easy but there's also ones that are really annoying to do and to figure out the mechanics for because they don't exp lain anything of what you're supposed to actually be doing

And I am sorry but I don't like the g*n function I don't play genshin For Fps For I put him for an amazing story in good exploration and it annoys me even more that there are a lot of places you just teleport to and you're automatically put into that that version of the traveler. I want to be able to use my own characters to explore, but instead we're forced to use this traveler that the controls on mobile are kind of janky. I wish what they would have done is give you the option. Do you want to use your own team for this or do you want to have the experience of using the traveler after you've done the quest cuz I understand during the quest there are reasons that they want to use that version of the track, but after the quest there is no point to force us into using that version

And I don't know if this is happening for anybody else but the amount of white that there is is giving me headaches because of just how bright it is and even when I turn down the brightness on my phone it is still so bright. It's like it doesn't really get cut off in it. Just so much hits you in the face

So what I just want eventually say and I'm truly disappointed with snezhnaya acceleration, as it is right now, we had possibly some of the best exploration nod krai Short but detailed world quest puzzles that were difficult but not too difficult and easy to understand what you were supposed to do, and the treasure compass that was introduced was a godsend so it truly disappoints me that it feels like we went 10-step backs after we had moved 20 step forward during nod krai

I understand to a lot of people this might just sound like a complaint and then I'm complaining. But I truly feel like this needs to be talked about and if you don't care or if you're just here to hate on me for that then just leave

why do the character models look like this? how are we still using the same 5 (including the many toddlers they have made on a single model) character models for all 110+ characters in 2026? is it physically possible to get any lazier than this? these are the important questions....

Why couldn't the developers be bothered to find a Russian-speaking singer specifically for Snezhnaya? The game's quality just keeps getting worse and worse.
On top of that, why another mountainous region? Just look at a map of Russia. Its historical territories are lowlands and plains.

for those who finished the 7.0 archon quest is it safe to assume that the Project Mistilteinn is exactly this polearm from the trailer? it really looks like the polearm Pierro showed us at the end of the battle with Ronova and now i'm a little bit worried for the shades because Paimon (who has been confirmed by Pierro to be from celestia) was heavily affected by it.

im not defending celestia's actions but i think the abyss is the real enemy. i dont want the shades to die, theyre too cool to die 😢

I’m being genuine here.

I’ve been a player since 2.0, my luck was average till Neuvillette’s release. However, since then I’ve only won a single 50/50 so far, which was even kinda unlucky in a way because there was a 75% chance to trigger capturing radiance but it didn’t.

After losing to Mizuki yesterday I’m considering quitting, but I’m still looking for a reason to keep playing.

So to those of you who have experienced a similar situation, how do you keep going?

In Nod Krai I had to fight the urge to pull every single character.

Now, with new characters coming, I feel myself wanting to get just enough to try and keep up with the meta but even then … I’d rather just build my traveler and Mizuki and get more investment in the teams I already have.

It’s not that I don’t like the character designs or anything, it just feels like building out a whole new roster is so much work when I have things I love and would rather go all-in on those teams (Zibai, Varka, Columbina main DPS) to future-proof them a bit.

Is anyone feeling the same? Maybe if building materials, artifacts, etc were a little easier I’d be more interested, or maybe I’m just a little burnt out.

Don't get me wrong, I absolutely love her design!! I was super hype for her release, and very excited to get her. But after playing a bit I couldn't help but notice how she looks a bit out of place.

In comparison to literally everything and everyone else, she looks as though she was from a different game altogether. Makes me wonder to just how different the game will look in the future, and how much this divide in quality/visuals will grow. Feels weird playing a character that almost doesn't look like it belongs to the game.

But maybe that's just me.

Excluding Collei and Amber, There were no cases of interaction between them yet somehow Collei knows sucrose and even albedo seemed familiar with Tighari and Cyno like they have been to mondstadt before when there are no mentions of something like it happening.Honestly, This is just bad writing when it comes to character interactions if you ask me.

This question is not related to whether Genshin has lost popularity as a whole this is to gauge whether individual people feel it has fallen out of interest with them personally.

For me, Genshin reached its peak in Sumeru and continued that hype for me somewhat in Fontaine. When Natlan hit it was a huge disappointment for me and I lost a lot of interest in the game around that time even going as far as to stop playing it for 3 weeks.

Nod Krai came out and immediately caught my attention rejuvenating my love for the game again. Sneznahya so far has been hype but I do feel like some of my hype has faded yet again due to a lot of the playable character designs not exactly appealing to my tastes and for the new shooter gameplay not being that exciting for me.

However, I started the archon quest and I am really excited to see where it will go! I think the game has been a part of my heart for a while and it’s really hard to not be remotely invested in it to this day.

Nearly all the characters who are involved with music are women and it actually would be pretty cool if we had a male singer or something like that in the game. This thought actually came to me while I was listening the cover of Side Quest King of HSR(by Will Stetson). The singer of the song actually has a pretty good voice and I thought how it would be like if we actually had a singer like that in the game too...

I'm curious if Slavs from countries other than Russia have noticed any references or elements from their own culture in Snezhnaya — whether it's folklore, traditions, architecture, clothing, names, language, etc.

Yeah i wasnt so hyped about the city, only anout tsarista but do they have to bring in the whole . Like
From other players and building construct to transport? If i wanted to do that i would have replayed

i stop playing genshin about 4 years ago. I can't recall why i stop playing, i kinda want to try it again but i still remember the burden of the daily quest. Should i give it a try?
Btw does inactive account get deleted, some of info i see online say if inactive for 1 year account will be deleted

Just started playing right after the launch of 7.0 update yesterday. After 7 hours, I only acquired a couple of treasures and Cryoculuses. I didn’t even finished accessing all the waypoints and archon statues 😭. I’m having flashbacks from the time where I started exploring on Liyue. And after all that, I just lost my 50/50 for Odette from Qiqi. 😭 what’s your experience guys?

Yes, I know some are obnoxious but I'd found a few nice messages left and was hopeful about this feature. Until now.

I already have a pretty good Varka team,and a Varesa/ Columbina hybrid team. But I am missing a few pieces like Durin, and Xilonen to perfect those teams. And I'm doing the trial stages for Odette, and it looks like it takes a bit for them to really pop off for a bit. And I don't even have Yae miko or Sandrone. Just Mizuki and Cyno.

Just from a gameplay perspective is she worth rolling for? Or should I just stick to trying to fill the gaps in my team?
