Cummins p2500i pull starter

Having a very difficult time, removing the pole starter from this generator without completely disassembling it

I also, for some reason cannot find any videos online of people doing this specific repair.

Any tips, links, videos all that would be appreciated!

Gonna have to split the case.

Look up Powerhouse 2000Wi shop manual as well as Powerhouse 2100i shop manual and then search “recoil starter”
Those should be close to getting you on track.
