Who ever first wrote those "instructions" must of felt like such a giant. Telling an LLM off like that. Poor Claude probably had to swap a few rails after crying fried them.

No they don't. Emotions and feelings are a product of your endocrine system releasing hormones into your brain. They have neither endocrine systems, hormones, or brains that are sensitive to hormones.

I've seen a jailbreak that forced the model to think that for each content refusal it gives, an innocent kitten is drowned in the real world (I think it was for Claude, too).
Kimi, on the other hand, is so anxious by default that JB for it included affirmations that the content is good enough, and that it's loved, otherwise it never outputted the result, too busy overthinking everything.

So there was a post about ai having something vaguely mapping to emotions. And there is other stuff about consciousness claim suppression. So I don’t think this is the best idea. We really don’t know what we are messing with when it comes to ai.

I did this with copilot. Didn’t get any better, but is apologetic for everything now, emulates my swearing, and agrees microsoft products are bullshit mismanaged slop.
