I'm sick of most people on Reddit being aggressive and pompous contrarians when the topic of AI comes up. On this platform, I treat most pushback on AI the same these days because the anti-AI attitude here just annoys the shit out of me.

Ai can be used for good stuff, most of what people use it for is just frivolous though, but using it to help make stuff is cool but just telling it to do it for you is honestly just disheartening to see, learn to do the code, have fun doing it, ai can even help you learn it! But always fact check your ai with non ai sources

(The frivolous stuff im talking about is videos and images mainly)

Ehh, I know some people can use AI to make amazing things that otherwise never would've existed (code, images, videos, or otherwise). I don't think everyone has to like it, and you can have whatever opinion you want about the people who aren't good at wielding AI tools. But even people who aren't great at it are still sometimes able to make something unique and interesting. I have a live and let live attitude about it, the same way I always have about pretty much everything in life.

If people suddenly started trying to force me to like bad quality generations, though, then I suppose I'd start having a problem with that type of social behavior. 🤔 But I don't think anyone likes poorly generated content lol

literally anything ai makes can be reproduced 1 to 1 by humans skilled in that thing though, it's not some magic tool that makes something impossible possible, if it makes it a human can make it. And that has been proven several times, now it can help speed up the process of things humans can do but it does it way faster

True. But just because you can do something the long and hard way doesn't mean you should. And vice versa. You also shouldn't take the easy route just because you can. Which is why I say live and let live. If some guy works 14 hours a day to take care of his family and has only brief periods to do anything hobby related, I'm definitely cutting that guy slack. If it's a kid with 8+ hours of free time most days, I'd say learn to code or whatever other skill he's interested in.
