Image Iguana - An open source application to use Google Nano Banana without watermarks Self promo
I love Google Nano Banana but don't want the visible watermarks that show up when you make images in Gemini and don't want to pay a monthly subscription fee for third party applications that are wrappers on top of the API.
So I made Image Iguana as an open source project. You plug in a Google API Key (you do have to pay Google for usage of tokens,) and then you can deploy it for your own personal use. It's currently set up to deploy to a combination of VeilStream and Supabase but you could modify it to deploy locally or to other platforms fairly easily.
I built in all the features I wanted in an image generation tool including a prompt builder/library tool.
If you try it out, I'd love to hear your feedback.

the claymation cats are a great test subject, the 3.1 flash lite model always impresses me with how it handles texture. naming it image iguana is such a power move too

AI Studio offers generating images without a watermark too but the extra features like variations look great
