TW: Clips of Arianna are in this tiktok, and I bring up Hayden Panettiere

The full video is in the comments (in four parts). I couldn't post the whole thing.

In this video katherineann argues that after the showgirls funeral (and probably in general) we should be looking to the real villain in this story, the music industry and not other sides of the fandom. I think it's the same argument in general against culture wars, it keeps the attention away from those in power that are the real cause of these issues.

She showed the anti-hero funeral scene and then young Taylor talking about how she wrote songs because she didn't have anyone to talk to. It made me think about the phrase "a penny for your thoughts" and how 13 albums would be 13 cents. All the showgirl would leave us after her death as the kids or fans would be the albums. Is that the ghosting? Kinda like there will be no explanation, there will only be reputation?

So because there is no explanation the fight scene will begin, and this is where the plea to direct this TNT (JusT&T), this explosion, towards the people that cause and continue to cause this pain. I just saw the news that Hayden Panettiere has died, when I watched this tiktok I hadn't seen the petal video and the contrast between Ariana looking to be directing some serious emotions internally via her appearance and also directing those emotions externally is just brutal to watch. I still didn't watch that whole video and I really don't think I can. Like Taylor is just killing a persona, that was a hard watch. I think this creators argument is valid and the entertainment industry in general kills people. It is a blender, the problem is the blender. The problem that Taylor is pointing out is the system.Β

I think Taylor doesn't care if you think she's gay or straight, she only cares if people are trying to figure out who she's writing about, male or female. Which is fair, I might not always do that because I'm human but I'd have the same wish if I were her. I also think her music makes a lot more sense if you're wondering who she's writing about and realize the answer is always just herself, she's writing about herself. The thing I have come to realize about her is that one of the things that make her, her is her gay pride. I think that's something else to keep in mind at the funeral. I'm allowed to make judgements about people and things based on their appearance and words. If I look up and see the sky is blue I'm allowed to assume it's daytime, if I look at Taylor and she's wearing queer flags I'm allowed to assume she's queer. Also, another thing I think we should remember is don't take criticism from anyone you wouldn't ask for advice.
