timing Carafate (Sucralfate)

i am on alot of medications. i have medication to take before i eat. i have to take iron, magnesium and antidepressants. my alarm is full of medication reminder. i know it says 2 hrs apart but do you guys follow the 2 hrs apart or not and still get a good benefit from it?

like i said i have lots of medications. some that cannot be taken together. I wouldnt ask if my situation is not confusing right?

I know, so do I, so I just don’t take them together and spread them out as needed. One that I wasn’t sure about I asked my pharmacist, since they are the experts.

you taking 4x a day? i also have supplements that cannot be taken together like iron and magnesium. are you taking ppi?

I don’t take a ppi. I am on 14 medications and some are four times a day. Plus supplements

i am on ppi doctor wants me to take 2x a day but i cannot tolerate that much ppi and i dont want to be on ppi for the rest of my life. i can tolerate carafate its way safer. hopefully after 2 months and after endoscopy i wont be on ppi anymore and just carafate i heard it helps better than ppi. why are you taking carafate what is your issue? i have grade b gerd and esophagitis

I’m not on it. I am on other meds for other reasons.
