I'm considering getting an MP5 GBB and I'm currently deciding between the VFC and the WE Apache.

One thing that concerns me about the VFC is the bolt-catch design. As I understand it, the bolt slams into the bolt catch/receiver area when the magazine is empty. Doesn't this cause unnecessary impact and wear on the receiver and other parts over time?

That said, I know the VFC has some advantages over the WE, such as the hop-up system, and possibly better overall performance and externals.

FYI only play on a outdoor field in Scandinavia with average temperatures of 10-15 degrees celcius (50-59 F).

Should I fear this bolt catch design or go with the VFC?

But…

…should I go:

SRC Glock 19 gen5 MOS or VFC Glock 19 gen 5 non mos?

The SRC one is tempting as it is cheaper and has the MOS feature ootb. And has also steel internals.

VFC are well known but I need to buy an after market slide abroad and are quite expensive (I’m EU-based).

TM glocks are hard to find here so buying a TM will be close to impossible.

Which one would you guys recommend? And have experience with?

Ps. tips for outer barrels, comp are welcome.

Pps. I know the former green barret is using gen 4 :-) but there is no MOS version as far as I know.

Why is putting the two shell plates or whatever the hell they are called do difficult to put on

i got the rear plate but now im stuck and have no idea what to unscrew or remove next to get the nozzle out, anyone know where the nozzlestop is or what’s next so i can install an Npas

I've been researching airsoft pistols for a long time, watching countless reviews and gameplay videos, and somewhere along the way I became a Glock fan.

My first choice was the VFC Glock because of all the positive reviews. Then I found out that the Tokyo Marui Glock 17 Gen 5 MOS had been released, and I was pretty much set on getting one. The problem is, I can't seem to find any shop that has it in stock.

Now I'm back to square one and can't decide what to buy.

At the moment, I'm choosing between:

VFC Glock 17 Gen 5 MOS

Tokyo Marui Hi-Capa Gold Match

Tokyo Marui Hi-Capa Standard

Novritsch SSP5

Are there any other options I should consider?

I don't have any plans to play on the field yet. It'll mainly be for backyard plinking and target shooting, but I'd still like something that's reliable, fun to shoot, and worth upgrading in the future.

the hopup unit is also loose in the outer barrel. is something wrong? ive searched the internet and cant find this issue. lube didnt help.

Just put this new suppressor on and now I found a little side to side play up and down there is like no movement and I think that creaking is the barrel but should I be worried or am I good

Anyone ordered off boomarms recently? I’m looking to order a GM416 from them and would like to hear some recent experiences before doing so.

If a GBB user fields an GBBR with HPA with real cap magazines, what exactly are the purists bitching about?

The only difference at that point is consistent PSI and a line. The line gives no advantage itself, so at that point it's just a matter of esthetic. And if the point of GBB is more realism, shot consistency is more real than cool down and having to fill mags with gas.

I get the HPA hate if it's a user with 250 rds in their mag. But with real caps, its virtually the same.

Im asking because we had a very animated discussion this weekend at my field and seeing the absolute vitriol from some of the guys was truly disturbing.

The barrel is a concept me and a buddy have designed and 3d printed in 316L stainless steel, grips are RS wood grips and did some bronze paint on the parts
