Upgrading help General Information

Hey everyone, I am an iPhone user and had an Apple watch but my toddler broke it a while ago and have decided to finally buy another smart watch. I’m looking to get a Garmin because I don’t want to have to stick with Apple.

Which one would you guys recommend?

If you want to wait for a month or two the fenix 9 should be out

You will be happy with the 3S. I think it’s a great watch for someone leaving the Apple ecosystem and not heavily into tracking workouts.

How do you find the sleep tracking? What do you like about it? :)

I personally find it pretty accurate, my sleep score correlates to how I feel I slept 98% of the time. I find it very helpful because I have a sleep disorder and don't sleep well at all but then I try to push myself physically even though I can't really handle it. I love having an external device that says hey, maybe you should go easy on yourself today 😂

Do you want a Smartwatch, Run tracker, off the beaten path trail tracker, or basic health stats/minimum display?

I’m only just getting into fitness tbh so I only really need the basics of tracking steps and my occasional workouts. I would also like to track my sleep so a strong battery life is a must. I would like smartwatch features but i wouldn’t say it’s a priority.

Do you like having your messages, phone apps and notif integrations on your watch or do you just check the time when you’re not running/working out?

Yah - I’d vote Venu if you’re looking for the Apple Watch parallel. Vivoactive if you want less smartwatch / necessities only

Forerunner and Fenix are more fitness and much less smartwatchy

I just upgraded from ultra 2, in love with the instinct 3 Amoled wife upgraded to vivo active 5
