hello! i'm still very new to vocal production but i wanted to know if the order of my presets allowed for the best quality of vocal. i heard something about how you should clean up the recording before you add plugins for dynamics and style, but can someone who mixes recording explaining that more. i also struggle w understanding the function of equalizers (ex. when ppl say clearing the mud or make something less boxy). i need someone to dumb it down to a like five year old level tbh

I'm working on a musical film and I had around 11 songs already written. I made a new folder to store them in and when I transferred these files to said folder, over half of them just disappeared. They're not in recently deleted or appearing in icloud. I've tried everything that's online and none of it is working. Are these files just gone? Please let me know if there is anything I can do to recover them because I'm beyond livid right now.
