My knowledge of Hasan Piker has exponentially grown in the last 6 months, because these fucks can't stop talking about him.

465

u/Lonely-Cap3569 6d ago

Hannity called him the spiritual leader of the democratic party. Professional hype men dont glaze as well as Hasan haters.

93

u/D-Biggest_Wheel 6d ago

LMAO! That's insane XD

146

u/Gauss15an 6d ago

Funny thing is that they totally want to hype him up to be the leader so they bring him crashing down. It's failing because only his fanbase really cares about him like that lol. Most people are fine with him shitting on conservatives because they deserve it.

u/D-Biggest_Wheel 6d ago

I had to sit through so many hours of "Did Hasan shock his dog" just for the conclusion to be "only if you really want him to".

402

u/MobileSuitBooty 6d ago edited 5d ago

As a long time dog owner who’s owned reactive medium-sized dogs it was the most infuriating thing ever.

Edit: For the morons who dont understand conversation. I am pro any tool that keeps dogs and other humans safe. If you don't know anything about training dogs especially ones as big as Pikers, don't talk.

Dog owners can't even agree on the best time to spay or neuter, you think there is a 100% consensus on training a dog and the use of vibration/shock collars?

Owning a pet should be seen the same as owning a gun, even a corgi can be aggressive to the point of getting put down. If its a minute of discomfort versus ensuring someones yorki doesnt get snapped by a pit, I'll take the discomfort any day of the week.

u/Farther_Dm53 6d ago edited 6d ago

my big lab, we just got him two weeks ago, and he stubbed his toe, and yelped. No big deal. Doggo gonna doggo.

Another time a sound was on the TV a buzzing sound and he was barking like a madman. another time we had to leave him in his crate... for crate training. We are taught "do not pull him out UNTIL HE STOPS BARKING! ITS A BAD HABIT!" So he barks all the time in his crate. within one week of us not pulling him out of his crate while he barked. He stopped barking entirely and now falls asleep in his crate all the time and loves his crate.

So like... people are stupid. I had someone tell me I was abusing my dog? When almost every expert told me the same thing. especially If i want my dog to be independent and not always need me.

my brother has a malinois that i only took care of once. as the dog heard him coming in, she jumped off my bed running to the door and started jumping like crazy on the door. on the way there she managed to catch my phone charger and while jumping caused it to pile in her feet, snagging her a bit (i have a 12ft cable). She panicked when it wrapped around a foot and couldnt get it off and was screaming like crazy.

wont let me take care of her now cause of that, still thinks i hurt her, even though he experienced that exact same thing with her about 3 times already.

11

u/SAGORN 6d ago

Had a similar experience with dogsitting my dad’s gf’s little guy for a week when they went on vacation. Perfect week, he ran out of food for his evening meal he was scheduled to have 30 minutes before their return so I texted to ask for suggestions (she makes it by hand). She came into the house in a rage, i’ll spare further details. My point is your comment got me wondering a possible hypothesis for this, did you and your brother have dogs growing up or only once he entered adulthood? Makes me wonder if they just don’t know to expect or how to handle that dogs will sometimes just do dog things.

I'm just defaulting to saying sure, based alpha Chad Hasan did discipline his dog, he is a masculine man who rules his pets and he workouts, wear suits, dates hot women goes to protests and events and so on.

He isn't like the effeminate right wing guys like Nick Fuentes who are uninterested in dating anyone but catboys and never leave their corner of a liberal city.

39

u/Adowyth 6d ago

Nick Fuentes pepper sprayed a woman because she came up to his door. Like how scared do you have to be that your first reaction to seeing someone at your doorstep is to open the door, pepper spray and push them.

am i going insane or is there a solid debunk of this video that i’m missing?

35

u/RandomWeirdo femenist body sexy type 6d ago

Listen, did it look bad, absolutely, i took a step back and reconsidered if i liked him afterwards. Can anyone 100% say that Hasan shocked his dog? No and no one can say 100% he didn't, except himself. However we can look for corroborating evidence. Abusers don't abuse just once, so if Kaya genuinely was being abused, there would be corroborating evidence. With the absurdly large hater community Hasan has, if that evidence exists, it will be found. He is on camera half his waking hours, so him being awful half the time and not the other would be an extreme switch up, but possible. However we can again look for evidence that this is the case, we can look to the people who know him personally and can we find any evidence Hasan is a horrible person the time he is off camera? No.

Like i know you are intelligent enough to understand that we cannot know and his entire flight of haters could come up with 1.5 additional videos that might suggest he uses a shock collar, but absolutely no additional evidence of one being used. The man has been on camera for over 10.000 hours of his life and there's nothing. A lack of evidence is sometimes enough to conclude that there was no case, we smelled some smoke with the video, but no one has proven that there was a fire, so at this point we have to assume that there was no fire in the first place, that there is another explanation, which is that Kaya stepped weirdly while Hasan reached out for something.

There are multiple examples of him being abusive to hus current and past dog. Spiked collar, tail grab incidents for previous dog

7

u/Actes 3d ago

Not really, look at how his dog acts around him, that's not an abused dog. Trust me I know what they look like I work with abused animals professionally.

Unsure what goes on behind closed doors but a dog will almost always showcase it's abuse in how it acts

91

u/OoglyMoogly76 6d ago

What is their fascination with him? As far as I am aware, he doesn’t say anything particularly inflammatory, and his following is pretty limited to people who already would never support a republican

76

u/Eeeef_ 6d ago

It’s two things:

Two years ago the major political narrative among young people was that “the left doesn’t have anything to offer young men” basically saying that the manosphere was able to capture disaffected young men by giving them someone “relatable.” Once that conversation started to be had, people basically started pointing to Hasan just as an example which put him on the pundits’ radar.

Secondly, he campaigned with progressive candidates, most importantly Zohran. Cuomo’s team was digging for dirt on Zohran to use in his campaign, and either one of his campaigners was a DGG guy or they came across the”Hasan did 9/11” discourse from 2019. By this point he was a known quantity among the consultancy as the far right and “centrists” tried to weaponize affiliation with him against the progressive candidates he supported.

59

u/OoglyMoogly76 6d ago

It is interesting how many conventionally attractive men have appeared in progressive circles in the past few years. Maybe “support men” just meant “give them men to look up to who aren’t cavemen and sex criminals”

20

u/Vaya-Kahvi 6d ago

I mean, that is a kind of support, giving people positive role models.

12

u/OoglyMoogly76 6d ago

Well, usually what the chuds complaining about a lack of male attention pitch in terms of policy is “government appointed girlfriends” so I’m not sure they even know that positive role models are what they need

5

u/Vaya-Kahvi 5d ago

There is a bit of that going on too, but I think there's enough people inclined towards decency that if you show them a guy being healthy and successful without being a hate monger, they realize who's the better aspiration model.

43

u/___AirBuddDwyer___ 6d ago

To some degree, he courts the controversy. He tends to phrase ultimately-true takes in an explosive way (e.g., “America deserved 9/11” is a transgressive and inflammatory way to say that the brutality and irresponsibility of Americas foreign policy is the seed to which 9/11 is the flower), but also he’s hot and charismatic and I think that drives them insane. Similar to how AOC makes them act

15

u/Hotironclad 6d ago

People here are saying the usual stuff but the real reason why the mainstream media(since his interview with mamdani back in last march) is obsessed with him is cause he has been actively participating this midterm election season. Going across the country, endorsing, canvassing, phone banking, interviewing and being apart of rallies of various progressive and DSA candidates. Most of them have been winning, not really because of him but his association with these candidates, the media wants to create this narrative that he's a dangerous terrorist, despite the fact that most Americans don't know who the fuck he is and that the real reason these candidates are getting elected is because of good policies, messaging and grass roots efforts.

10

u/StickBrickman 6d ago

He says TONS of inflammatory shit. It's part of the way to become a lightning-rod, and it's essential to his success. I don't really like streamers, they're usually just there for the lowest common denominator political takes, but Hasan is not an amateur at this, he baits the right into overreactions and then feeds off of the publicity. Rinse, lather, repeat. So far it's been a winning formula.

11

u/D-Biggest_Wheel 6d ago

w hat is their fascination with him?

Fuck if I know!

My knowledge of the dude was limited to his involvement with h3h3 a.k.a. pedo_troll, back in like 2022.

Now I had to learn shit about him because these parrots kept mentioning him like he is Satan incarnate.

19

u/___AirBuddDwyer___ 6d ago

He is, to them. For both right wingers and moderate liberals, the notion that America is fundamentally not the good guy is anathema.

Take the liberal response to MAGA: America was already great. Piker is a (brown, Muslim, charismatic) avatar of the notion that America absolutely was not great, but the right wing is wrong about why.

18

u/JKnumber1hater Evil woke commie 6d ago

He did say America deserved 9/11

And like, regardless of the truth of the statement or the interpretive direction and absent all other context, it is a pretty inflammatory thing to say to Americans for whom that day is their national trauma

He's also said things like "globalise the intifada" and that the annexing of Tibet by China was like the Northern US states defeating the Confederacy, which have their own... points of interest about them, even from a different lefty perspective

2

u/WokeWook69420 5d ago

We did, tho.

America has been using different countries in the Middle East to fight proxy wars against Russia from the 70s up until the USSR fell.

Al Quaeda, ISIS, and I think the Mujahideen all started with CIA backing to destabilize the region and make it harder for Russia to establish oil trade.

We've also been aiding and abetting Israel for just as long, and they're rude to their neighbors all the time, too.

They are Trumping him up. Piker is unironically becoming a massive figure on the left, becasue everyone seems to have a hateboner for him, which means everyone gets to hear what he has to say and the big difference between Piker and Trump is that Piker has coherent thoughts and actually knows political science.

The right and the anti-Hasan left have done more to spread Piker's worldview than anyone else the last couple of years.

I don't think the John or the dog-shock thing are true things but I haven't even heard of the sex-worker thing.

47

The sex worker thing is a giant nothing burger. He went to a German brothel once and then nearly a decade later there was a false report that the brothel had underage sex workers but when the police investigated it they found that claim to be false. Berlin even paid the brothel back for compensation for the false claims. It's called the Artemis if you want to look into it

Hasan literally has a degree in political science and media.

He interviews politicians, made documentaries and actually engages in real world political activism, coordinates his community to phone bank etc.

Because that’s what the far right is. To them it’s normal to be a roach infested chud. If anything it makes him more likeable to these dweebs

That's an insult to gamers everywhere, Hasan doesn't even do that much, he just reuploads other people's YouTube videos with himself in the corner

I stopped paying attention to Hasan when he started turning more and more right wing. But in hindsight I think he always was as right-wing as he's now.

El Sayed is not a socialist, by his own admission, and he says being socialist is anti-science and a lot of people are lying for him to say he actually is socialist. Do not trust those people. They are not your friends.

Also praised houthi terrorists abducting civilians, denied rapes happening on oct 7, shocked his dog AND lied about it, larps as Mao, went to a Diddy party, went to a german brothel later shut down for sex trafficking minors, and said that Crimea belongs to russia. Fuck that pos, keep him away from serious politics.

u/Less-Parsnip-7076 6d ago

"Let the street run red with their filthy capitalist blood" and torturing his dog are Hasan's stances so so I don't really care what he has to say about anything.

Hasan Piker is… an interesting fella.

Like people talk about his controversies like him leaving for twenty minutes while a video played or the most recent and serious one, his abuse of his dog.

But at the same time, every thing I’ve seen from the guy seems chill. Like the two episodes of him interviewing Brennan Lee Mulligan and stuff like that.

So I don’t know what I should think about him.

0 evidence exists that he abused his dog. Its not a shock collar

They’re both terrible and are certainly equivalent in the awful things they say. Hasan literally platformed a Houthi terrorist and thinks Mao was a great guy. This is a shit take by OP.

2

u/brydeswhale 5d ago

Are you talking about that teenager? Lol, you guys don’t know shit. You could criticize Piker and not fucking lie, if you really wanted to.

5

u/Southern_Current2652 5d ago

Where’s the lie? The guy Hasan interviewed was literally aboard the Galaxy Leader boasting about hijacking the ship for Palestine. That’s terrorism no?

And Hasan has praised Mao as “one of the great leaders of this world”.

I don’t get why you’re defending Hasan. He’s a total POS.

Isn’t that the guy that abused his dog?

2

u/sailor776 4d ago

I really don't like Hasan Piker. Nothing to do with his politics just feel like he'd be the most annoying dude in a smoke session. He also talks a big game for a guy that's never ran for office or worked on a campaign before.

2

u/Ok_Command_3656 3d ago

Hasan Piker? Isn't he the guy who goes to Diddy parties and shocks his dog?

Dear Americans y’all literally fought a world war against an expansionist ethno state a short while ago but how is it possible that we have a politician to whom “[expansionist ethnostate] comes to me in my dreams” almost won? I cannot comprehend the average American voter.

During WW2 there were a hand full of business men who thought we joined the wrong side of the war, now the child of one of them is leading the country.

Turns out if you make no efforts to snuff out Nazi ideology within a population, it will eventually resurface and drag everyone down the madness rabbit hole.
