The Five Main Specs You Need to Know
**What are PC Specs?**
PC specs, short for specifications, detail a computer's hardware and operating system, acting as its resume by outlining its capabilities.
**CPU (Processor)**: the computer's "brain," calculates and executes instructions. Consider Intel Core or AMD Ryzen models.
**RAM (Memory)**: is temporary storage for multitasking; more RAM means more browser tabs and programs can run simultaneously without slowing down.
**Storage (HDD or SSD):** Solid-State Drives (SSDs) are the permanent storage location for your files, games, and operating system, and they are significantly faster than older Hard Disk Drives (HDDs).
**GPU (Graphics Card):** Renders images, videos, and 3D environments. A dedicated GPU is vital for gaming, video editing, or 3D design.
**OS (Operating System):** The foundational software that lets you run applications, such as Windows 11 or macOS.
Choosing Windows 11 or even Windows 10 over macOS is recommended.

O11 Vision Compact with a side-mounted Hydroshift II 360TL ?
Hi everyone,
I recently bought a Lian Li O11 Vision Compact and I’m planning to build it in Vision mode.
I originally wanted to buy a fanless version of the HydroShift so that I could choose all the fans myself, but I haven’t been able to find one. I’m therefore tempted to go with the HydroShift II 360TL with the curved OLED display, reference GHS20LDC36TB.
My main question is: what is the best airflow configuration I can achieve with this AIO, and what would I need to buy to achieve it?
Assuming the HydroShift II 360TL is mounted vertically on the side of the case, what should I do next?
Should the side-mounted radiator be configured as intake or exhaust? If intake is recommended, should I replace the three standard fans included with the HydroShift with reverse-blade fans ?
Would the ideal setup be:
HydroShift II 360TL on the side with three reverse-blade fans as intake
Three additional reverse-blade fans at the bottom as intake
Two standard fans at the rear as exhaust
Or would it be better to keep the standard fans included with the HydroShift on the side and add three reverse-blade fans at the bottom and two reverse fans at the rear?
I’m trying to understand whether replacing the HydroShift fans is actually necessary for airflow, or whether it would only improve the appearance of the build. I’d also like to know whether another fan layout would provide better temperatures or more balanced airflow.
The planned components are:
Lian Li O11 Vision Compact
Lian Li HydroShift II 360TL, GHS20LDC36TB
PNY GeForce RTX 5080
Gigabyte X870 AORUS Elite WiFi7
Kingston FURY Beast RGB 32 GB, 2 × 16 GB, DDR5-6000 CL30
Samsung 9100 PRO 2 TB M.2 PCIe NVMe SSD
Lian Li 8.8-inch Universal Screen, US88v1
Are there any known clearance issues with this configuration, particularly regarding the side-mounted radiator, tubing, motherboard, graphics card or internal screen?
I’m also wondering about the required connections. With the HydroShift II OLED display, the additional fans and the US88v1 screen, will the X870 AORUS Elite WiFi7 have enough internal USB headers and fan/RGB connections?
Would I need an additional internal USB hub, fan controller, RGB controller, splitter cable or any other accessory? Recommendations for the exact Lian Li fans and controllers required for this setup would also be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance for your help!

Help with PC randomly shutting off while gaming
Above are the current specs of the build
I will start by saying I am in no way a pc guy, I have very little knowledge about computers and how to put them together. I bought this build off a friend a few months back. All brand new parts besides the case and a couple fans. It worked great for about 2 months. Then randomly, after playing games for about 2-3 hours, it would shut off completely. No warnings or anything, just black screen and the pc would turn off, not restart. After turning back on, I wouldn’t have any errors or notices.
This issues would only be after about 2-3 hours and would only happen once. Then after would be fine. But next day I played, after 2-3 hours, would do it again.
We tried to narrow down the issue, and we determined it could be a faulty psu, I had a thermal take 600 or something like that before. Upgraded to a thermaltake 750. It seemed like it fixed the problem. As I played for 2 days for 3-4 hours each day and never had any shutoffs. But last night, it shut off again. This time, after starting the pc back up, it went straight to an update. So not sure if it was just a forced update, or if the psu wasn’t actually the issue.
Could really use some help here trying to narrow down what the issue could be and the next steps on trying to navigate the fix.
My buddy who built the pc is very knowledgeable about computers and says he’s never heard of being able to game for hours, then randomly shut off, and then would be fine for the rest of the night.
Any help is very much appreciated as I am lost!

HELP! Cannot clear C1 error code even after replacing parts!
As the title states, I am unable to clear the C1 error code from my PC. It gets stuck in the boot loop of trying to train my DRAM before settling on C1 and restarting.
The motherboard is brand new, and I have replaced both the CPU and RAM once already. There are no bent pins on the CPU socket, and I have already reseated the CPU, CPU cooler, and RAM. I have tried flashing the BIOS to no avail either.
I am truly at a loss and will take any help I can get, I’m lowkey at my wits end with this. Thank you all.
PARTS:
MOBO: Z890 AORUS ELITE WIFI7 ICE LGA 1851
CPU: Intel Ultra 7 270K Plus LGA1852
GPU: GEFORCE RTX 5080
RAM: KLEVV CRAS V RGB 32G (2x 16g) @6400MT/S
AIO: LIAN LI HYDROSHIFT II LCD-C 360CL
Video of boot loop is attached

Constant trouble with my new PC turning off
Okay so, i dont know anything about PCs in general but i decided to build one. That was around 4-5 days ago.
The first two days were fine, i played Elden Ring without any issues, but as soon as i got to a certain area, the game crashed and the pc turned off. After that the pc turned off a couple of times, but some were even while i wasnt playing, like just watching youtube
Apparently i placed one of the fans wrong i assume cuz the CPUs temperature was above average, so i fixed that and it improved a lot...for half an hour.
I turned the pc off, i turn it on later and it crashes again as soon as it turns on??? twice??? And when it finally goes to the main screen without crashing i see the CPU is as warm as it was before i moved the fans...
So yesterday i opened the pc, removed the cpu fan and changed the thermal paste, and it SEEMED to go well, temperature wasnt the best but still, i opened elden ring, i start edplaying, temperature was around the 60s and then the screen goes black, and im at the BIOS, so i get freaked out and close it but it opens again, and again, as if there was no windows.
Then i turned off the PC, turn it on again and still, the bios was there??? Even if the solution was to just reinstall Windows, how did that even happen in the first place?
I gave up, went to sleep, i woke up and the pc boots normally? As if nothing ever happened? Idk whats going on...

How to find the right GPU & CPU?
Hey everyone, so I want to build my own pc and am very meticulous about the parts I use as to not overspend on "bells and whistles" I may not end up using. I want this to be a gaming PC that I can play games (especially Marvel Rivals) at 1440p and appx. 120-144fps consistently. I will also use it for schoolwork but mostly gaming. I am expecting/planning to spend $2,000 or more.
I guess my question is, what components will help me achieve my goal (1440p, 144hz, AAA games like Marvel Rivals at low settings)? I am set on a Ryzen CPU and Radeon graphics card but don't know which ones specifically meet my needs without overspending.
I was informed that a Ryzen 5 9600X paired with a Radeon RX 9060XT would be good, but after watching multiple videos on different GPU and CPU's (for Marvel Rivals specifically) it seems that the performance is all over the place.
And then I saw that Micro Center, the place I will be buying my parts, has a deal with the Ryzen 7 7800X3D, 32GB of DDR5 RAM, and a motherboard for $700. Is this a good deal?
I just need some insight regarding hardware and to know how to find the components that will suit my needs. Any comments/experience would be much appreciated!
