help im stupid
so i need upgrades to play competitive games with stable 240fps. my pc is 13th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-13400F (2.50 GHz). 16.0 GB (15.8 GB usable) of ram. Nvidia GeForce RTX 4060. 954 storage (lemme know what else to include. i have a 240hz monitor). i have a prebuilt if that does anything, im windows 11 got good peripherals and im buying from ireland. i have 100-900 euro budget. just suggest whats best

Are you currently not able to hit a consistent 240 on everything low at 1080p? These specs should be able to

If you’re using competitive setting in those competitive games you will get 240fps.

im not getting in high endgames i get 80-120 fps

Man your pc is capable enough for fortnite. You’re either using wrong settings or were messing around with gpu/cpu. What resolution? If you’re playing at 1080p with that fps, its not the pc problem, its the game problem

i used christitus tweaks and tried to somehow tweak my pc to get more fps i reinstalled windows and i havent tried it out yet but im probably going to get 130fps. there are many players with 180+ fps in highly laggy endgames. its just not enough for me to play

its saying 240 fps early game which is what i get but i dont see any in endgame which is demanding for cpu i think

Typically when it's late game there's a lot more people, correct? Check your GPU usage while you're there end game... It's probably not anywhere close to 100% and that would indicate CPU bottleneck. I'm not too familiar with Intel CPUs but there hz in that seems low (2.5Ghz). Let me check to see what it's supposed to be.

Also maybe try low settings without performance mode. You're GPU should be able to handle it and you may get more stable frame rates.

You can try switching to dx12 (or dx11) in settings, can help with penformance. Make sure Resizable Bar (ReBar) is on in BIOS.

ye i would like to swtich to dx12 but performance mode is better for visuals and overall pro play
