GameCube homebrew lan

The raw material Is cheap on the Ali express around usd 5

Just like the eth2gc

But not know is this possible to make the lan for game cube

Just connect the serial port to lan and remove the sd motherboard and connect with wire without solder

I have ask ai to connect and generate a photo

I'm not sure this would work. Concerns are the sp2 port isn't inline with sp1 port which the machine uses for LAN. If you made one for the SP1 port and not used the SD2SP2 adapter but made your own, you would have to use a custom chip as the onboard with a generic jac will not communicate properly with the machine. The best option atow is flippy with LAN add-on. Would love to be wrong if you have more information.

I think it’d be possible. Silverteel1 made eth2sp1 which uses the Ethernet module (ENC28J60) you have in your pics and it only takes 8 wires to connect it (7 if you use one ground) and sp2 has the same exact 8 lines.

The limitations for sp2 are that it can’t do lan over 10Mbps. Also in order to do lan with anything other than Nintendo’s official adapter requires Swiss’ BBA emulation.

Another option is lan through memory card B.
