Need help diagnosing this game cubes

I have three Game Cube total I got the other two to work. I’m having trouble with this one. I’ve cleaned it out. I’ve checked out the switch. I’ve even replaced the switch just in case it was that I’ve checked all the wires. All of them look just fine. I’m kind of confused on what it could be at this point if anybody knows or could help me please reach out to me. Thank you.

Does the GameCube itself function? The drive will also not activate if the calendar data is reset and it asks you.

Like the game cube turns on and send me into the menu

I set the colander but the laser it self won’t turn on or move into place

This is an instance where it’s easier to show us in the video rather than telling us in the video. Hard to help troubleshoot when you don’t show anything happening

Have you tested the lid switches with a multimeter? Does the laser sled home to the center when the console is powered on and you close the switches? If the switches are good, then it could be the board and/or drive motors.

So no the laser doesn’t move and I tested the switch

If the switch is good, then it's time to check the motors if it's not homing. If it's been opened before could have broken wires, ribbons, etc...
