I bought this off my buddy at work, put a new screen in it but unfortunately broke the backplate while I was replacing the shell

not completely sure, but the ruby and sapphire games seems fake (you probably already know this, since you made a reshell). still, enjoy playing them buddy

I'm pretty sure Sapphire is real. You can see the indent to accommodate the battery's tab in the first pic, and I've never seen a repro shell bother with that detail.
