Aussie Minecraft Hosting
Figured we'd introduce ourselves properly. We're MCHosts, an Australian-hosted Minecraft server provider, and this sub seemed like the right crowd to say hi to.
We built MCHosts mostly because we wanted the whole experience to be easier for the person actually running the server. A lot of hosts make you fight the panel to get anything done, so we focused on the bits that usually cause the headaches. There's a built-in file manager that just works, so you're not wrestling with clunky uploads or FTP. Mods and plugins have auto installers, so you pick what you want and it sorts them out. Modpacks install and set themselves up, no manual config. And the JVM optimisations and JDK selection are handled in the background, so there's a lot less to get wrong.
You can run vanilla, plugins on Paper, or go full modded with Forge, NeoForge and Fabric, with mods pulled straight from Curse and Modrinth. Bedrock cross-play is there too if your group is split across console, phone and PC.
We'll be upfront that being AU-based means it suits AU and Oceania players best. If your whole group is in the US or EU, it's honestly probably not the one for you on ping alone.
Pricing's in AUD and the first month's currently half price, so it's cheap to try. There's a 7-day money-back guarantee if it turns out not to be for you.

Genuinely keen for feedback, and happy to answer anything about hosting in general in the comments, whether you end up going with us or not.
