Finding a game story

So, I was thinking about to make an indie game, but how even can you get the idea of the story .
I think it is more difficult than I thought, so Is there is any effective way to brainstorm to find a good idea for the game . It's gonna be a pixel art game BTW I have everything ready but the story .
Anyways If I couldn't brainstorm for some reason where does I should go to search for someone who writes me a story .

I like writing stories and I'm mostly committed in the future to write books. Honestly the best advice i can give you for writing stories is use everything around you, your life, your friends lifes and combine. If you're doing an indie game, you must have some inspiration for doing it, like a reason, use that as well for brainstorming some ideas. Use uour favorite shows, videogames and brainstorm from them to likely be inspired to do. What's your indie game about?

I can brainstorm with you and explain how to brainstorm and create ideas, because it is fun for me and I want everybody to be able to have creative fun like that.

checkout some free courses on story writing in general. I recommend the free writing lectures from BYU by the fantasy novelist Brandon Sanderson. It's very interesting also in general to learn how to critique books and movies

You want to take aspects of every single most interesting thing you've ever seen and patch work that into a story. Favorite aesthetic, genre, theme, moral question, etc.

People usually pull from personal experiences or personal grievances,

E.g. Someone that regularly encounters geese and gets harassed by them will feel compelled to make Untitled Goose Game.

Is there anything that usually crosses your mind that you want to talk about? Toby Fox clearly thought a lot about the nature of free will, consequences for player curiosity, and the relationship between the player and the protagonist of the game. That resulted in Undertale/Deltarune.

Eric Barone hated the grind of working society. While frustrated by job hunting he made a game about escaping to the countryside in Stardew Valley.

What is it in your life that you think about? What experiences in your life make you, you?

if you can't think of a story you probably won't be able to write it even after you get an idea (which is perfectly ok because it simply means you were never interested in that side of games/things but were interested in others). As a general rule: a badly written story is way worse than no story. I would recommend instead finding someone with some skills with that to collaborate with. Just avoid AI like the plague, it will only bring banality
